Well considering she suggested shiney things and clothes I doubt she can disagree with what Dave said lol

The roller balls on mine always stop working, on like my 3rd mouse, luckily I don't pay for them lol any idea how to fix it?

Actually looking at one in real life next to the old one, its no smaller just slightly longer so it looks thinner, I do think its a good idea though, the apple headphones are good enough for what people would use a shuffle for like going to the gym, jogging, riding or whatever and the fact that it talks to you and tells you what playlist your opening and stuff is cool to, plus its cheaper/easier to replace the headphones if the controls break than it is to replace the actual ipod so yeah, its pretty much win.

I had the same problem when I wanted to run 16:12 on my Python. I just put a nackered old freewheel on, put the chain on really tight and rode it around (not trials just cruising about the place, maybe a little bit of hopping around) for a few days so it stretched then it was perfect Didn't seem to weaken the chain at all because it lasted for months and months without snapping, only changed it because I changed my gearing to 18:12.

yeah hannah you should be seen and not heard lol -
The only thing that bothers me about riding towns on my own is the fact that i've got to leave my bag unattended whilst i'm riding a spot and someone could run past and snatch it, which is why I don't like filming on my own either. If I go to somewhere quiet like the local university there's no real risk of that happening so I just listen on the ipod, maybe even take a dock out and just play it through speakers, watching video's on your ipod is good as well as it keeps you psyched up and wanting to do more. A variety of trials/bmx/dirt video's is good as well 'cause it can inspire you to try new things. I don't have a laptop but I've always thought that if I did have one i could take it out with me when i've got the camera so I can upload and edit a video as I ride, it will keep you out for longer and also gives you a good chance to rest every now and then and you can correct mistakes there and then rather than getting home and thinking oh s**t my tripod was wonky on this one, or I could have landed this a lot smoother. Obviously that would be more ideal if you had a car because you can leave all your gear in there while you go and ride. Cars are another good thing, there's nothing worse than thinking ahhh balls i've got a 30 min ride to get to a spot where i've got a big chance of getting moved on, and oof its a bit cloudy, i'm not riding all that way just to get rained on! In a car the journey takes a hell of a lot less time and your less tired so if you do get kicked off its no biggy.

Mint song! what was it? Really liked that but the bike noise should have been turned off, it ruined it a bit for me other than that it was a great video!

What Is The Worse Thing You Have Done To Your Bike?
mr ailsbury replied to onza boy27's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
Snapped steerer tube on my forks mid air on a gap/snapped brake hose at the same time. Snapped my bars mid air on the same gap/snapped brake hose at the same time. They're probably the worst snaps, cracked about 4 frames, cracked rims, snapped hub axles, bottom brackets, pedals, spokes etc lol Been riding quite a while to stack that lot up though haha -
Get this SFK BFR-600 while its on offer, might as well its only an extra few quid, they're quite heavy though so iff your a weight weenie get the tryall, I used to run one, they're good BBs These cranks: Trialtech cranks These pedals: VP pedals pretty much exactly the same as the tryalls but like £5 cheaper Freewheel: Tensile freewheel best freewheel i've ever used. Also, to sort your brakes out, get a Magura Rim brake service kit from cleanbikes, £15 and you get all the spares you'll need to sort your brakes out.

Ordered my pads on Sunday 8th March, received them first thing this morning with a note apologizing for the slight delay and some sweets! Would defiantly order from him again i suppose if your desperate for pads its quite a long time but I heard they're awesome and well worth the wait and thats why I chose them good stuff!

Broke my scaphoid just before xmas. Was in cast for 8 week! Was such a pain in the arse! I filed a little bit off the cast by the tip of my thumb cause it was digging in. Also freed my thumb up enough to play playstation lol it was taken off 3 weeks ago now and i can ride and use it normally again Tis just a bit clicky and tender still when i move it.

Didn't realize that wall at South Bank was so big until I saw that photo of the guys with a tape measure :| bloomin' 'ek! Good photo's mate -
I don't mean it like that, I mean BMX is more fast paced and exciting which appeals to the majority just like football, whereas Trials is more like Golf, an equal amount of skill is involved but at a lot slower paced and it seems less interesting to the mainstream audience.

Don't tighten it up too much either. I crushed my spacer tightening it too much when I got annoyed at the crank coming loose lol ended up having to get it sawn off because it wouldn't come un-done lol needed my frame re-tapped and everything.

Think I may go for a Rohloff from Tarty... From experience you defiantly get what you pay for with these type of things. While this topic is fresh, what gear ratio do people generally use, i've got a 16 tooth and a 13 tooth cog on the backwheel, what crank/BB/chainring/bash set up do people use? Also, headsets. I have an echo one on my Python and its OK i guess, not brilliant though, bit wobbly and used to creak a bit when I first had it. had it in 2006 and it still runs smooth though Can't really afford to spend millions of dorrah on a King one, but don't want a Deng one either...

Trials is like golf and BMX is like Football. BMX is so popular because it makes it easier to pull Emo girls. That's litterally the only reason.
