Yeah but you look older than you are and always have (plus its A LOT easier for girls), people who serve you (especially in my shop) are daft 'cause they're super strict when punishing people for underage sales these days, we get lectured on it and have to take tests every other month to prove we're capable of telling the difference between a toddler and a pensioner and what ID to ask for and stuff. And yeah people start smoking and drinking underage through mates at school but a lot of parents don't do that much to stop it, they take the "well you'll do it anyways whether I tell you to or not" approach and just let them get on with it. Its a hell of a lot harder to buy age restricted stuff now a days compared to when I was your age so it is deffinatly getting stricter/safer Either way, just 'cause everyone else is looking at sick porn on the net doesn't mean you have to, and like OBM said, you signed up to the forum and agree'd to behave so do it. Whenever I meet someone who's trying to get into trials (parents included) I always direct them to here and Tartybikes and if they looked on here and saw horrible porn and loads of swearing it would shine a really bad light on us.

Censorship isn't the 'cause of all that its bad parenting. There's age restrictions on stuff to help protect people but if parents choose to ignore it and buy the stuff for their kids anyways then theres nothing anyone can really do to stop it. Take COD for example, its an 18 rated game with loads of violence but about 90% of the online players with headsets are about 13/14 year old kids.

If you think there are no interesting topics on the forum then make one yourself and try to keep the chat active, theres nothing stopping you and you don't have to be a SM to make interesting topics. Without New Members chat the main forum would be swamped with retards and without senior members/mods the retards that slip through the net would be able to run free and ruin it for everyone else.

The old 'scooped' echo rims are absolutly brilliant rims, bought mine when they very first came out and i'm still running them front and back and had no problems at all! It was the drilled ones that came out after them that where weak as shite I think.

Right heres my dillema, I've been thinking about trying some Trialtech Sport riser bars for a while now, but i've been advised not to as they're really snap happy... Is this true? Just wanted to get peoples opinions really 'cause the bikes i've ridden with them on felt nice but I can't afford to buy something if its going to snap quickly :/ cheers

The amount of people i've seen taking it, or that are on the buzz from it lately is ridiculous, gurning their tits off with big bug eyes acting like t**ts. It does just seem like a ridiculously dirty drug that people only take 'cause they can generally get away with it and look "hard." Some people are just idiots though I suppose.

I know he's pretty much having his video's professionally made for him now but if everyone put a bit more effort into their videos and how they edit them instead of arsing around then it wouldn't matter what sort of style you've got, it would make trials a lot more popular and make people take us as seriously as they take Danny. Great video

A more effective way for trials to get more exposure is if people put more effort into the editing and soundtrack used when making a video. If people used more creative camera angles and sound instead of just ''recording the event'' and then chucking a song over the top, people might be more interested. Trials as a sport can be sorta slow to watch at times so using more interesting camera and editing techniques can really help videos stand out, just look at how well a lot of BMX videos are made and go by that. The temptation is that because your real proud of getting your biggest gap you want to get a straight on shot that shows the whole gap just to prove how big you can go. Try to get away from this and just experiment a bit. Take Danny Mac's video, Extremely impressive riding but the way its edited and how well the soundtrack fits makes even the more standard stuff he does seem super epic. If people tried a bit harder to make more professional looking videos we wouldn't have to spam youtube trials videos, another fall down for this idea would be where about 10 little kids have all uploaded the same CLS video, people would just rate whichever one they came to first and it'd make no differance.
