nice rear wheel (Y)" ur bro did a good job
-
Absolutely awesome. Thats the kinda aggressive riding Ill aim to achieve one day on my monty!
-
Nice pic mate, nice gap. And I like the lego building in the background lol. Totally agree about what it must be like riding in hot weater like that, just a hot day over here today was enough to lower my riding ability!
-
How would that stop pinching or rimming in any way?

Are profile's covered by warranty on trials then? Or can u just blag it and say u used it for bmx if anythign happens? Are they genuinely more reliable? Ive heard of them breaking before, but never heard of an ENO properly breaking! Also, whats the weight issue like with a profile? Im thinking of getting one, but need to be a bit more persuaded first

At last, an oldskool video of Ot Pi I found on eengoedidee Bear in mind it is VERY oldskool, check out the sexy lycra, very trendy. http://www.eengoedidee.nl/videoz/download....Z9TM228AAEAwUDk enjoy

Im thinking of going for a profile, but im not totally decided yet.. Is the weight gain on the rear of having a profile hub noticable over an ENO? How much do they actually weigh (profile)?
-
I loooove my carbon risers, however when I got them I noticed they are particularly low in rise. So for bunnyhopping, I think they would go nicely in a viz stem or something (which apparently is lighter and higher than my ultra-low zoo stem). I mite get one myself soon over my zoo stem

I totally agree. I got my Ritchey WCS Truegrips (foam ones) a week ago and im loving them, plus they dont feel like they are going to be ripping any time soon.. Dont let it put you off that they are not as thin, Im sure you will have no problem getting used to them and they you'll love them.

RESPECT to your avatar! I remember monkey island, best game EVER! Oh, those were the days... Anyway, back to the topic, i cant tap.

Thats what I thought, but I didnt want to say anything. They are exactly the same rim, same cheese metal and everything, just the viz and onza rims are eyeletted, whereas the koxx are not, and the colours- the onza hog only comes in black I think. Oh yeh and the latest viz rims have hexagonal holes (dont look quite as good in my opinion) and a groove in the side for braking, dont know if koxx and onza have that yet..

tart... did you literally just change the price of your bars in the last few seconds then? cos i could have sworn they were 53 on there a minute ago when i checked... :- maybe my heads screwed.. you dont sell new brains on there too do you tart?
-
r u serious? Im tempted.. Do you think theres any chance of it working?
-
I (and Im sure a lot of others) noticed onza carbon riser bars were only £35 on bikedock, for the real deal (nothing faulty with them or anything, incase anyone wondered). Ive just saved up to buy some, gone on there and they've gone up in price... great. They were a tenner less a day or 2 ago and the wider version have also gone up in price now too. grrrrrrrrrr Im just a bit peeved I didnt buy them a day or two ago.

Thanks a lot guys for all your comments! Yeh Im hoping to get a red rear profile soon, probably on a black onza hog rim (basically a koxx rim/viz rim, but in black). So that should blend in a bit better and make it ride sweeter. Then there will be onza carbon risers, foam grips etc..

Yeh lol! They came off my stock, Ive had them for ages and loved them. Im surprised no1 else bought any, they are very nice bars, and very lightweight too. Its weird, when I bought them I was expecting some heavyweight DH bars, but they came through my door not only in a different colour (silver instead of black or whatever they normally are), but weighining in really light... I think looking at their website now they might now be called "X-force 31.8" bars... weird Anyway thanks for the replies and keep them coming!

Hi! Well I thought its about time I posted some pics of my new bike. The frame was courtesy of Bongo (his old frame- the only white 221 ive ever seen) The forks and front rim are viz (its built onto an american classics hub, recieved today from Tart) The stem is zoo The bars are Planet-X goliath pros (I havent seen many people use these either- I have the 28" wide 275g ones), perhaps soon to be onza carbon risers Cranks- monty Tyres- Maxxis Creepy crawlers Rear wheel- my t-pro one, with a front ACS Claws, soon to be a rear profile hopefully... mmm red anodised pimp touches (and gold pimp lever lol. cheers kerley!) What do you all think? Feel free to post any comments. Thanks for looking, Scott

Give it some brute force. A little more air in the rear tyre can help a bit if they are low too. Perhaps try to land with your rear wheel slightly more to the right (IF you are turning the same way as in your video, so that your momentum will be travelling through the same side that you want to spin, if that makes sense), and the most important things probably just to get more spin before you land, e.g. try to do 190 degrees before you land on the back wheel. Hope that helps, Scott

I would say DEFINATELY change the t-pro bars. I found it made a HUUUGE difference on my t-pro, I hated the feel with the origional bars and stem, expecially on the back wheel. I also lost half a kilo from the front end just by changing bar and stem!! Most bars on the market are very nice to be honest, you cant go far wrong. With a bike like a t-pro that isnt particularly short compared to others, I think you can afford to have slightly higher rise bar/stem setup and still be able to gap compared to shorter bikes where I have found higher rise bars restricts gapping somewhat more. I think a beautiful bar and stem setup for a t-pro would be viz! stem with zoo! bars. much wider bars than the standard ones (which make a hell of a difference) and nice light middle-rise stem (not too low or too high)

When you say street, do you mean manuals and bunnyhops and spins, or do you mean just riding in an environment with a purist-trials type style? The t-rex would be really nice for competitions and general trials, but the main things it would be hard to do are manuals, and slightly bunnyhops (although perhaps to a lesser degree), due to its geometry. The koxx sounds like a great option if its a nice spec and cheap. px zebdis are always a nice way to go too, there are a lot around on ebay and they ride nice in general.

Awesome, but I agree you should get some really highly upswept bars, and tilt them right back so you can reach them more and be more "laid back". Then it would be a sweet-ass cruising machine. Something like bmx bars would probably do
