  1. Hey, thanks, doing my regular practise , 've been doing a lot of stuff to front wheel, very thrilled with that Just makes boring walls more interesting
  2. In the slow motion series, you can find a compiled video, climbing to front wheel, and another one, gaps landing to front wheel...TVsgi as usual... or directly streaming if that works and here too Enjoy...
  3. ha ha I was nearly tempted to add that extra bit at the end.... What can go wrong? and actually leave the crashes that correspond to failing the respective techniques... could be interesting, but this may not be very encouraging , and there are plenty of crash videos around anyway...
  4. yep, I am compiling bits and clips from my pages into small vids of just specific moves, all in slow motion. That'll make up for better display than the current shitty animations that I had until now. Say a summary by technique... may be a bit boring for some, but informative for others... So the first in the series are a bunny hop video and a static hop (wheel transfer) video. +, I'll be able to compile more clips in these than can fit on a tutorial page Will do the same for gaps to front wheel, sidehops, front wheel taps etc... Let me know what you think Oh yeah, and you can turn the volume up... there's no soundtrack
  5. I like the zero run up distance concept - minimalist
  6. I'd say it is the motion of a bunny hop (body movement in a wave), but completely assisted with a pedal kick, so you are never in freewheel, but always controlling your speed with the acceleration of the kick. At the end, you jump off while still pedaling. Hope this helps. I'll be putting up some some slow motion vids later on... in a distant future I'll try to update this page, maybe it is too bleak for the moment.
  7. ha ha, excellent finish , nice group ride atmosphere

Hey, I like the editing a lot , very untertaining, and some of the close up. It's all down to assembling the right threads. Chilled out
  9. Hey Wing, how about this WE? Nice little vid, but you can cut all the pogos... or relax and stop them I need to post a vid some time... just been out of time for any editing over the last few weeks
  10. Hey Todge, Really a pro-design, though, I agree with the images to click straight through, and avoiding the long narrow column text at the bottom... But the presentation is really nice and makes the products look like fresh natural trials stuff. By the way, the brake lever completely enhanced rear brake feel and performance Never had so much control over tuning before that good job and quality products
  11. Thanks for all the pics Really nice ride then.. and plenty to ride as usual, very scenic will try to be part of the next big London ride
  12. Just looking at all your comments, it looks like I missed a really good ride , nothing in particular from your post
  13. That makes all of us who couldn't go feel miserable Really looking forward to see some pics and footage
  14. Won't be able to make it bike out of order and out of reach
  15. I like the wide angle distorsion, really nice pics, especially the tucking ones with blue sky (Peter)
  16. Here are a few pics of the sunday ride in Cambridge, put together in an album (that was quicker than resizing them for upload on the forum) Well, I am off to France until the end of the month, so I'll try to assemble a small vid when I come back. Any pics you like, you can download the high res files for your own pride. If that doesn't work, I'll send the high res files by email to whoever wants them. Enjoy
  17. Yep, just checking the pics out of my camera now... I'll definitely post a few on the forum before I am off to France. Thanks for everyone who turned up and made up all the great atmosphere!! A very good ride
  18. To be honest, it's'been raining most of the day, and not really looking better for tomorrow...(according to weather forecast) Dunno if its' not best to call it off... I'd like to see another big ride happening in Cambridge, but maybe it could be worth the wait for another WE I'll be there anyway at 11:30 at the Skatepark, though, I wouldn't want to encourage riders to go long distances for what looks like a rainy day.
  19. Hah ha, just ennoying isn't it?, especially when it makes you fall sideways My trousers'right leg has been regularly caught and mechanically chewed to a black greasy death... well, don't care any more at this stage
  20. Totally agree I think the best solution is around innovative chain tensioner designs (something that could be clamped directly on the frame chain stay rather than bolted to a mech hanger), positionned on the inside of the frame, hence, nearly completely protected except if you do grinds on your chainstays Maybe some room for new products there Steve?
  21. though, you'd put that list on your back, like rock band tours , adding some dates and places to it...
  22. Dunno yet, 'cause I'll be receiving some visit from abroad. But maybe I can take the day off or bring my sister with me . Will largely depend on weather (between 23.5 and 23.8C would be just fine)
  23. That's my favourite , I would go for something aggressive or raising anger... But, something funny... also, oh my god, I've got no saddle! I've been ripped off! Why not. That's not a bike it's a pogo stick...
  24. I'd say in 97, when I bought my first bike specifically to do stunts and ride on funny tracks, though I didn't know it would turn out to be trials at the time... and because I didn't know anyone around to go along with, my learning curve was horrendously slow
  25. When you say cracking, you mean, the axle is getting to play within the tightened cups, with a crunchy noise but still rideable???
