I reckon the 20th or so. I'll keep you posted.

‘right… a bit of a final bump, Thanks for all of you who committed for a T , I know it’s been a long wait, but it is the only way to get enough Ts for a group order at a decent price. For late decisions, I’ll be finalizing my list of Ts after tomorrow. I will also have a few extras Ts made, probably in olive green and in black (though only in size medium). Another 3 weeks and I’ll post some pics and the Ts. Cheers Julien

QUOTE(hugh_b @ May 28 2007, 01:20 AM) ←it's his new pro model he's testing with horizontal dropouts and a higher bb i believe. cheers-Hugh That's +50mm BB rise, feels very awkward to me, but hey, he is doing well with the beast. Can't do very long vids so decided to split them in smaller ones, easier to put online and organise. At 5mn+ windows media maker crashes...

Yep, just posted a new page....on biketrial zones... with a few examples of the top riders going through the zones at the French nationals last WE. Check out the indoor zone, massive gaps up by Vincent and the Coustellier brothers Hope you enjoy

Yep, got back from a break in Brittany, and indulged myself in natural riding all over the seaside... But nothing beats the landscape of Tregastel, granite blocks with odd shapes and miles to ride... Sooooo nice even on foot . Here is the sightseeing tour, on two wheels of course...

Truly impressive, and just for us trials riders! I really hope our sport keeps growing, you make it possible, you deserve it! Keep it up!
-
ha ha... actually you could, in trials, everyone is the best judge to their own capabilities... its' in your head.
-
ha ha.. you'd be safer on a trials bike John! Well, I guess in Luxembourg, when I was jumping on a vert ramp with an old sleel MTB, there was a guy with a Cannondale killerV doing small hops everywhere and balancing on the rear wheel, and I thought... whoah... I want the same bike and could jump and climb everywhere! It's only years later that I could buy my dream bike of the time, the killerV... but what a sensation, so light and so easy to hop around compared to what I had been trying to do on that big heavy MTB.

Arghhh, would have loved to come over. But I'll be off to France (planned quite some time ago)

They all make it look so easy... Just everyone makes it to the big box on that thin line etc... at that level of riding, it looks more like a mind game than a technical one.

Excellent... cable reels paradise... or hell? A really cool setting you got there. Nice bails...

Ok, the sizes are stated as ranges of chest sizes like that: Small 30/32", Medium 34/36", Large 38/40", Extra Large 42/44". Hope it helps. Else, try out any fruit-of-the-loom T you may have already, that'll give you an idea. I definitely prefer Paypal (only alternative could be direct money transfer, but see if you know someone who has paypal first)

I used that kind of stuff temporarily after a splitted scaphoide screwed back together... but it is not good for long term use... The best I found was Fox Gloves with an integrated wrist strap that is soft but really prevents you from flexing your wrist over the limit (i.e hurting yourself) Had them for over a year, really comfy too, and don't feel sore between the thumb and index like most other supports do after a while. Found them by luck in a dirt/bmx shop (Billies)

I must say this a clear recognition of TartyBikes as a fine shop, by a serious components manufacturer (well done Adam/Dave ) And probably, Hope is still a small enough factory to be able to look at independent needs without only betting their bucks on the mainstream markets. They also made a custom lever for Kenny Belaey... Looks pretty lusch too!!! By the way, Hope is replacing my stem . Top notch people!

Hey JT, Actually yes, there is navy, and also deep navy... (didn't make up the colours to simplify a bit) Last year, the light graphite came out really nice even though its' quite dark...
-
impressive, though how many times can you crash on that? Any special lever-replacement pricing?
-
Absolutely true! You are out there to ride, non-stop until you get to your next level for the day.

Always a difficult one... It's like... some people have a bad idea about cycling, because they never rode a smooth riding bike and can only think of old rusty deutch bikes with one gear. If I had to start it all over again, I would probably buy a full second-hand bike, then upgrade it if some of the parts are really battered. You'll have a top-spec bike for half the price of new, and it will still last you a fair bit. Then if you get completely hooked to trials, you'll spend as much money as you deem necessary to simply feel good on your bike. True that with a 26inch bike, you'll still be able to find parts in a regular MTB shop (tires, stems, bars, forks, cranks sometimes, gears... chain etc..) But mods are really fun too. Try both if you can before you buy...

I've checked it out... very gritty monsters... dunno if they would do that for you, it doesn't look like they do custom designs. But glow-in-dark is a cool idea . I called up the shop I used last year, they have that ink so they can do that no problem, though they have to change the ink to one that is a quite more expensive. I could order a glow-in-the-dark version for the black T-shirt (with the logo inverted), though this would be more like 12 pounds + 2 posted. I haven't seen the ink, but from talking to the printer workshop, it is a greenish white that glows in the dark. So this could look like this: Though, I don't think they do hoodies. Cheers

Was nice Joe... but sort out the noise! I mean your bike

Alright, massive bumpage, summer is on... and I am ordering more T-shirts with the same screen-printed TrashZen logo but trying out different colours this time. So as a one-off, for anyone interested, I can order specific sizes (S, M, L, XL) and any custom colours from the photoshopped colours below. This is the best approximation of colours I managed (it can vary a bit with your screen settings). I'll order them the first week of June and hope to get them by the 20th or so. Same price as before, a tenner + 2 pounds for postage Anyone interested, send me a quick email before the end of May. .

Amazing pics, love the motion blur effects, perfect lighting etc... Wow! And buthier looks like really an amazing spot

Oh by the way, chain wips are just a bit of chain bolted onto a handle, make it from an old chain bolted or welded onto an old spanner... works wonder for free. Actually, even if you just use the chain and grip it through a bit of cloth, that'll do most of the time.

Just pick a chair and sit in front of a wall. Then you have all the combinations of positioning the bike, upside down, on the bars, and the rear wheel up against the wall, or leaning upright sideways (that way you can adjust pretty much the height of any part of the bike to service) And play your fav music... (that'll make you happy to spend an hour fiddling with the most annoying maintenance chores)
