  1. Last year for the Psycho Circus I just sharpened my hair and put on a suit. If anyone asked I just said I was the pinhead-cenobite from Hellraiser, or as most people commented, "that scary f**ker over there." Rich
  2. Awesome stuff, really liked it Rich
  3. Simple solution: Your spokes should be two different lengths. Separate them out and measure one from each group so you know how long they are. Find out EXACTLY what hub you have and what rim. Write these four things down (Hub make/model, rim make/model, spoke length 1 and spoke length 2). Ring tartybikes, tell them what you've got and what pattern you should lace each side up as. If you DESPERATELY want to go four-cross, they'll be able to supply you with the spokes you need and a bit of know-how to send you on your way. Rich
  4. Looking good man! You out this weekend? Haven't ridden together in aaaaages Rich
  5. Sounds good, give us a shout on here when you're heading out Rich
  6. Awesome bit of ramp design and architecture right there. Glad to see Jason taking away the best trick win, the guy is nuts. Rich
  7. Someone has got to know this one...
  8. Scott and Rich there you are Rich
  9. Really liked that Tom Good work. Drop from the rail to beach looked pretty hench. Rich
  10. As I said last night Patt, very impressed, your riding has come on leaps and bounds since I've known you (a coincidence some might say... ) Gonna have to head out Germany way sometime for a ride Rich
  11. Asphalt isn't actually any given colour, different people just see it in different shades; pigments in skin tone affect optical nerves creating an imbalance in the sensory region which confuses the spectrum of colour. To Hispanics, the M5 actually appears green. True that. Rich
  12. And while we're at it Possibly the greatest natural video ever. Rich
  13. So long as Joel's shamelessly self promoting Rich
  14. Hero points for quoting Full Metal Jacket to that man
  15. Where's all this 'it doesn't hurt' crap come from? I nearly knocked the bitch out when she swabbed me, and I have a SERIOUSLY high threshold for pain! Rich
  16. Yes, and other places depending on how honest you're feeling at that given moment. Rich
  17. Stay on Stock Anyone know the second song from this? Rich
  18. Dyslexia isn't race specific That guy has an awesome riding style, very smooth but you can see all the effort he's putting into it. Really really nice to watch and although the edit was a little 'in your face' some times (I know I can't talk from some of the stuff I've produced in the past...) it worked. Any ideas on the name of the song? Sounded very Prodigy-esque. Rich
  19. If we could refrain from actually publishing intent to break the law on trials-forum that'd be nice. Rich
  20. My condolences to friends and family, a touching video tribute by Craig as well Rest In Peace
  21. Thanks for the replies guys, glad people generally seem to like it Over the summer riding my bike is my full time occupation so I get a lot of time to travel around and shoot videos, which is important to me as I'm studying for my BA in Digital Media at the moment, so the more stuff I create the more I can eventually put into a portfolio of work. Hope that explains it Thanks man, means a lot. And yep, I was in Plymouth on the 28th. Were you there as well? Don't think we've ever formally met so apologies for not recognising you. Definitely man, and again, thanks for filming Cheers all Rich
  22. Not quite, I'm actually just out of shot having let go of the bike and jumped out of frame. Mike's photography skillz *** Weight is probably around the 23-24lb mark, light enough for me Rich
  23. Picked up my new bike about 2 weeks ago and Mike took some rather nice snaps of it in London the other day, so thought I'd whack 'em up here Full spec as follows: Frame: Phase 1.2 Fork: Phase 1.2 Bar/Stem: MAD Headset: CaneCreek S2 BB: Truvative Cranks: Echo Bash: Trialtech Pedals: NC17 Magnesium with outers machined out. Front Brake: HS33, four finger lever, tensile offset mounts, phatpads Rear Brake: HS33, four finger lever, tensile offset mounts, phatpads, echo booster Front Wheel: Echo TR hub (32h) on Megamo (36h) rim, with funky lacing pattern and singlewall machining by bigman Rear Wheel: Hope Pro-2T on Echo Urban, disc mounts removed Tyres: Schwalbe Grips: Trialtech Thats about it. Rides like a dream, slightly higher bar position than my last bike has definitely leant a lighter feel to the bike. New video for those who havn't seen it here All comments welcome Rich
