That looks pretty mint. Hope theres gonna be subtitles available. Rich
  3. Weather looks pretty shite, but I'll give DarkComponents a call in the morning to see what its like further up the way Rich
  4. Crash with us at Rainbirds the night before?
  5. Gotta say the first two minutes or so of editing drove me nuts; just felt hugely over edited, couldn't concentrate on the riding at all. Which is a shame, because the riding was just phenomenal. I actually said "holy shit" out loud when Carlos made that huge gap between the white benches. Awesome stuff. Rich
  6. Im massicated pervert.dfuh drunkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk kkkkkk boob
  7. If the invitation extends I may have to sack Barney off in favour of cocktails at yours; trying to get shitfaced in Barnstaple on the 23rd and be in Plymouth to ride on the 24th is looking more and more infeasible Rich
  8. I'm gonna be in a shirt and tie a la Danny MacAskill S1 advert, although considering the time of year there maybe a tactically placed t-shirt underneath..... I'll also have the video camera out as much as I can (so long as some munters step up and film me for a bit as well) to document the day
  9. You guys only do this once a year?! I try and and get in at LEAST one day like this a week
  10. The last few Christmas's except for the most recent ('08) have been utterly shite and thats kind of conditioned me to feel pretty nonplussed by it, however last year I spent Xmas with someone else's family and it was awesome So I really don't know. I have NO idea what I'm doing this year yet.
  11. I'm there, although I have just said I'd go for a Christmas knees up the day before in Barnstaple, so I may be a little late.... THEME FOR THIS YEAR: Suited and booted? Even just a shirt and a tie or something similar, just for a laugh Rich
  12. If you paint your nails and dip them in water it dries instantly (if its half decent quality polish), so I wouldn't be surprised if similar logic could be applied here depending on the paint. Rich
  13. If I've got the time I'd definitely like to pop up for this. I always liked Nick, was just thinking about him the other day and how strange it is to think he's not around any more. EDIT: Stickied your topic aswell
  14. That first pic is probably the most 'epic' trials image ever You can almost hear the orchestra in the background Looking awesome dude, new bike looks fresh Rich
  15. Not because I'm too-cool-for-skool or anything, but I don't honestly take facebook that seriously. If you add me, I'll probably accept you. But I do get what you mean Simps, I've got soooo many people on FB who are like trials-riders from Argentina or something, which is cool, I've just never met, corresponded with or ever heard of them, so its kind of odd saying they're my 'friend.' Rich
  16. Something I recently found has helped me a lot with big street sidehops, is instead of trying to sidehop onto the wall, think of it like a high jump bar that you're trying to go over. I'm finding more and more these days that visualising a move is probably about 60% of actually accomplishing it. Awesome stuff though, get it nailed Rich
  17. I'd have to say, the Echo Urban rear rim is the closest to an 'indistructable' trials part I have ever come across. I had one on the Leeson Thumper, then on my Echo Pure, then my Czar, then the Pitbull, and then I sold it, still in pretty good shape, the only reason for selling being I couldn't fit it in my Phase with v-brake mounts. Same rim, different bikes; was in all of my street/natural training videos. Seriously, seriously tough stuff, and for that much strength the weight is no sacrifice at all. Gets my vote any day Rich
  18. Agreed, the riding as always looks monstrous yet blissfully smooth and controlled, but I just can't gauge any distances when you look 7ft tall and the bike looks 2ft long Youtube Rich

In Memorium Thread If you have a look in there I uploaded both vids in this thread on TT. Rich
  20. 8 hours? Did you put 'Travel Via: Bournemouth' or something? Its about two hours EDIT: Just checked thetrainline.com: 2hours and 4 mins from Temple Meads to Plymouth. Its actually a really nice journey, done it a few times Unfortunately I won't be able to make it due to work and uni and the like. Have a good ride anyway chaps Rich
  21. For the rear it sounds like you could just do with upgrading to some better pads and maybe getting grinding your rim. Is the brake feeling spongy and inconsistent when you pull the lever? If so it may need to be bled again, if not, leave it as it is For pads your best bet is to try contacting Phatmike on here who runs Phatworks. If you use the search option you should also be able to find some pretty good advice on how to grind a rim, although if you're unsure at all get someone with experience to help you; angle grinders can be pretty darn dangerous. If the brake really needs a bleed, your local bike shop should be able to help you, but if you fancy giving it a crack yourself again Phatmike should be able to give you some pretty decent pointers. He does know an awful lot about brakes Hope thats helped. Rich P.S. Oh yeah, repeat all this with the front for win
  22. That last tap was ridiculously lazy. Loving Ohlers style
