  1. Hound Tor and Hey Tor are both amazing for riding and climbing, but they've missed out my favourite one; Sheeps Tor, above Sheeps Tor resevoir (source of most of Plymouths water). Sheeps is amazing because its one of the only ones I've found which is sheilded from the wind, and the wind on dartmoor could literally pick up a small child and throw them around (I learnt this the hard way age six climbing at hey tor...) And yeah, Dartmoor is in my opinion, the best place to ride in the whole of england. Rich
  2. Should be there if the weekend hasn't killed me by then (meal with dad on friday, passplus 9am saturday, training at ham hill rest of saturday, Hampshire comp 7am sunday, DJ comp 7am monday, die on tuesday, back to college wednesday...) Rich
  3. Hell yeah, I'm up for both. Biketrials and Alcohol, why havn't we done this sooner?! :D See you all there. Rich
  4. Very cool. Hopefully I'll get the video up soon of the ride at Chris Donney's this weekend with Dave amongst others going nuts. Looking forward to the full vid. Rich
  5. I broke both my ankles on new years eve jumping out of a window. Was pissed silly, saw a window, chucked myself off it. (Y) Rich
  6. I will actually be on the phone to clive by the time you read this, asking if he can modify my frame to be more like that one... Savage bike dude. If you look at the seatpost in the third pic, you can actually see that its tapered (gets wider at the bottom) which in fact is a lot better for stress transfer and so that seattube is actually a lot stronger/stiffer than an average one. Rich
  7. Doctors can say all they want, it's what tic's gonna say that's worrying me... Almost back to my old level, but it still twinges a bit. Rich
  8. The drop was about 12 feet to the ground (you can see Neil Tunnicliffe standing in the foreground and he's about six foot something) so it was about 8-10 feet drop to the log, which was about 10-12 feet away, and the landing spot was roughly the size of a Mini hubcap. T'was sodding nuts... Rich
  9. Hey buddy, I'm going both days, and I'm on a black leeson 660, so come and say hi or something. See you there. Rich
  10. Ah, thats my vid. Glad you guys liked it. Rich
  11. Filmed over an hour and a half of footage on sunday, so a big vid will be out soon (probably as a section of SWTC Volume II), but for those who want to see just how nuts this show got, heres a little vid of the some of the best stuff from the trials arena. Featuring: Martyn Ashton, Caeser Canas, Ot Pi, Craig Lee Scott, with Clive Leeson, Sam Wheeler, and Matt Berridge's back (right at the start of the vid, cheers matt.) Eengoedidee Link Enjoy people. Rich
  12. I suppose I should be flattered by all the extra attention I'm getting, but no-one expect any big stuff, I have literally got my head around hopping up and down curbs. Baby steps... See you all in like an hour and a half... Rich
  13. Rain has just stopped about an hour ago, still looks pretty gloomy. Will talk to alex to see what the weathers gonna be like tomorrow. Should be my first proper ride since before christmas (got my foot strapped up with duct tape, ready to go...) See you all there at 11. Rich
  14. We're going to try. I probably will never be able to ride in it but it'll be worth it for everyone else in and around Taunton. Rich
  15. Brilliant news man, just one thing: Don't try riding until you (and the docs) are sure that you can deal with it. I said sod it and tried riding yesterday, and dispite feeling fine, the doctors have said I've basically given myself another three weeks on crutches, and I was just mucking about on a kerb outside my house for 10 minutes or so. But I did break both ankles so maybe its different, just thought I'd give some advice anyway. (Y) Rich
  16. Pretty damn cool, some nice moves going on there, as always. Hows the ankle doing? Rich

    My New Ride

Looks pretty nice, but that BB looks just a bit too low for my liking. **whispers in his ear** ...buy a leeson... (Y) Other than the low BB, a very swish ride you have there. Rich
  18. I love it when I can say to people, "I've beaten James Porter in comps." Kicks my ass on the streets any day of the year though... Downloading now. Rich EDIT: Nut cases, the lot of you... Good to see dave ripping it up on his T-rex a bit.
  19. The sidehop contest they have at the end of that one is absolutely brutal... Crazy spaniards... Rich
  20. Black white and polished. Even marker penned the Maxxis logo on the rear tyre... Rich

    Bc-trialz

That was actually pretty damn good. There's a decent amount of info on the riders, some good bike pics with full component listings, and some good riding pictures. But for christ sake lads, get some helmets on... Nice one. Oh, and you may have to sort out the links page, it didn't work for me when I clicked each link (maybe just me...) Rich
