  1. fixed I thought that picture was funnier than my original responce
  2. Pot kettle black Though perhaps I am a bit blunt, but we are on the internet talking about having fun on kids bikes, most of my posts are quite tongue in cheek and I even take the piss out of myself. Maybe more smiley faces at the end of everything would help. I'd say I post equal measures of helpful, joking, positive and criticising posts, but unfortunately people like you only seem to notice the latter. Also, I didn't call Andee names, he comes across that way all by himself. :wink2: :1eye:

  4. I think it's the nicest Sky I've seen
  5. it doesn't matter thaaaat much, but just make sure the rotor you get has a deep enough braking surface to cope with the pad size (Hope pads are quite large so need a deep braking area, Magura Martas have narrow pads so only need a shallow braking surface for example)
  6. Andee hates me, my life is ruined
  7. I'd settle with 30mm,but I'd also want a really steep head angle so I could use a shorter stem.
  8. hmmm, it's better than a sky, but I doubt I'll ever see a bike with geo I'd actually want.
  9. I pretty much don't give a single shit about those cranks Tapered forks and axles is cool if they work, but the final straw would be the geo
  10. Ironic but as far as leaving Koxx, I'm not too surprised, he'd have always been in the shadow of Gilles and Jack. Now he's with Crewkers he'll be one of their better riders and will probably get a better deal out of it. Plus I'd rather have a Crewkers over a Sky, but I'd probably have a Kloud over a Crewkers.
  11. I know a brake that's had a similar design since 2005
  12. that wasn't really my point
  13. It looks similar to (insert picture of any brake that uses a vertical piston design)!
  14. You have failed the practice citizenship test. Questions answered correctly: 14 out of 24 (58%) Time taken: 04 minutes 38 seconds
  15. planning to do one, will probably be fairly close to the closing date though as I'm still trying to learn stuff and junk.
  16. I have two more options that could cause issues. 1) the rotor may have missed the heat treatment process. It's rare but I've seen it before, the rotors are easy to bend by hand. 2) the disc mounts on the hub could have twisted restulting in the rotor bending into a "bowl" shape. It's unlikely it has done that but you never know.
  17. I know right? I see quite a few people say "I don't like ___ but I like this" which seems weird as if you like one aspect of the thing you don't like then surly you've made a decision without seeing the full picture. Nice Edit eggbutnoshell :wink2:
  18. then you need to re-think what you can and can't stand

    Magura 2014.

they don't say what size piston they use.....could be ~9mm like disc levers and they could have moved the pivot in the lever to decrease the mechanical advantage (doesn't look it it's moved much though which could mean it's spongy) or it could have a normal 14mm piston. Still would rather have a V brake.
  20. people in skateparks (not just kids) who have seen you try a line multiple times yet still sit/wait/stand/talk/leave bike in exactly the place you're trying to go.........I just don't understand the thought process.
