  1. I punctured one on my first ride, did catch it on an edge mind so I'm no overly surprised, but they are pretty dam light. Just don't buy them for their puncture resistance.
  2. really ugly, no curved tubes please Echo
  3. that ender is pretty nuts!
  4. seems Benito has been quite good at them for a while... Flip surly has the record for brakeless and "underhand" sidehops though.

Actually, after looking at other patriots on ebay I'm going to say these bikes are probably not worth more than the starting price. There are plenty of better bikes on Ebay for around the same price.

they almost seem like a mix of forks, maybe even two uppers bolted together. The badly spelled and worded "descriptions" make me suspicious too.

they are extremely dated bikes, that orange will be from early 2000's and they have such a random mix of parts. The forks on all the bikes are next to useless, the brakes all seem to not work etc. I'd say that Orange was worth around £600-£700, but if you bought it to actually ride you'd need to spend a few hundred more on it. Decent modern Patriots might go for £2000, but not 10 year old ones with weird forks and parts.
  8. Jesus give up with the "don't buy from Tarty" thing you've got going on.
  9. instead of coming across as a complete tool in every topic you could have searched for yourself instead of demanding a link. It seems Hans has been filming indoors in Germany with a load of people and there might even be a video in the appropriate section of the forum.
  10. I've never used the free returns thing with Chainreaction anyway, seems like hassle when I could save time and just spend a pound or two instead.
  11. I've been at a few skateparks over winter and you know when someone has these hubs because you can hear them a mile off. They are so loud it's horrible, it's not even a nice click, it's a really horrible click.
  12. Tarty do Pricematch and you're unlikely to want to return a chain.
  13. My first version was a 15mm od alloy bar, drilled and tapped to take 10mm bolts and then I used Hope's 15mm end caps and just slid the bar in. Works well but my tapping skills were sub par that day so I'm a little worried it may strip one day. My second version (that Adam Tart made) is an old Echo axle turned on a lathe (and drilled and tapped to take 10mm bolts) so it its on the INSIDE of the normal Hope end caps and cut to length so it fits inside the hub lengthways, I then drilled the 9mm QR parts so it was a 10mm hole for the bolts to go through. Much neater than the first version.
  14. Flip posted this in another topic but it's a good example that shows with a little effort even a camera on the floor can be decent. https://vimeo.com/47655766#
  15. I've already told you how to make a pro2 front hub to take bolts
