  1. The thing with depression is that there is often no reason that you feel sad. This then makes you more sad as you feel guilty for feeling the way you do with no reason, throwing the "other people have it worse" card is often the worst thing that can be done as that makes the guilt even stronger. self harming isn't always an attention thing, people often feel so guilty for feeling the way they do that they believe they should be punished and self harming is one way they can punish themselves. I suffered with Manic depression throughout my teens and at a couple of points I self harmed, (nothing too serious mind, I tended to burn myself instead of cut). I always kept it secret so not even my parents knew, so it wasn't an attention thing. That's not to say that some people don't do it for attention, it's easy to get angry at these people but sometimes it's their way of crying out if they can't face talking to someone about it. This blog post is a great description of how depression can suddenly come on for no reason and how the self hate can come on. But as it also shows it can disappear as quickly as it came on (as it did with me), so no matter how bad things seem there will be a point where you are happy again. http://hyperboleandahalf.blogspot.co.uk/2011/10/adventures-in-depression.html
  2. If you're on about such a short time scale, then it would seem there not enough time to change and we are all doomed. I might go on a shooting spree or something if we only have a few months left*. *I am not going on a shooting spree
  3. I'd like to point out that I haven't and you have, so yeah, pot/kettle. Rusevelt: They have always been steel outers. Even the TI ones are steel (just the inner core is Ti).
  4. where else did you ride, as I don't really class less than an hours drive as a roadtrip
  5. he already does/is/has
  6. Ha, seems I don't have to do anything these days to get people slagging me, this is way less effort now!
  7. I've done footjam whips, but never a hop whip. I feel like I'm getting closer though, just need to commit and keep my feet in the air for longer and not send myself over the bars like I've done a few times
  8. haha thanks! Although I've been trying hop whips for a few years now and I'm still a fair way off them.

yeah, Ken earned a few million from that deal. It's a shame the riders got dumped, but I've never really been into DC as a brand. Their shoes are ugly and I get really put off when I see really annoying people (like Rob Dyrdek) wearing silly american style flat peaked caps and loud branded tops from DC.
  11. I agree, bike is sweet, shame the brakes were not bedded in yet though. Cranks are very nice though!
  12. There's always one, If I ever meet you I'm going to batter you M8! There may eventually be pics though.
  13. Just a quick post to gloat about the fact I was sitting in a £4.500.000 car yesterday. That is all.
  14. Only the Ice-Tech ones have alloy, and they are still heavier than a standard rotor of the same size. They are plenty strong enough too.
  15. I got mine because the fatter alloy arms are harder to bend than skinny steel ones. Still running them a year later with no problems and they are still pretty straight!
  16. can send it in a PM if you don't want to put it on here?
  17. Got to admit I'm pretty curious, other than speaking my mind a little I'm pretty sure I've never done anything actually bad.
