gah! I have just tryed to get my brakes better but now they aint working at all! Its the cables, they dont return, you pull the lever and it stays where it is. I am getting well and truly annoyed with these brakes. bongo, what exact setup are you using, levers, cables, gyro etc

cheers for the help guys. I saw on ebay an adaptor that you put in your cig lighter, it has a usb type port which I presume takes memory sticks (or my i pod shuffle). I cant find the link now but that sounds pretty sweet. Not sure how it connects to the speakers though, possibly through the radio? anyone know anything about it?

well it will deffo work for the rim tape. Try the hose, but if it doesnt stick (which I am sure it will) then just paint it or somthing if you REALLY want it green

good old electical tape use it to tape your rim and your current hose. there will be loads of green grips around. Hope make nice green parts (hubs, stems, headsets etc)

well, I'll give'm a good scrub and ride burnley some time (will you be there on monday?) and if they dont feel right, I will expriment with differernt cables and lubes. Ps one of my spanish fly pads came apart after an hours use (Y) it was on the back, but is now on the front, shouldnt cause any more probs.

my evolver brake, with spanish fly pads and nice smooth cables is still wank, I can just about get the bike to skid (Y) I cant see a flaw with the setup, it pulls reletivley nicley (not as nice as yours) , both pads hit the rim at the same time and square. I am using linear slick cables. My front brake is even worse, its really gritchy, I have tryed to make the cable into a nice smooth loop, but it still feels wank and it has hardly any power. I am using primo hula hoop chrome rims and tech 77 levers, what more can I do?

I have been using isis for the past3 years or so, I cant ever imagian using square taper again. I could straight away feel the extra stiffness isis gives. I have also been lucky to have never brocken any bb axle, but with isis I feel more confident. I also havnt had any roundage problems while using isis unlike when I used square taper.

one reason I want an mp3 player is so I dont have a pile of cds getting scratched, I dont mind what order the music comes, so I wont be searching for a particular sone (I love them all :) )

I just cant stand scary films, I hate them, too dam scary. I find the x files bad enough without watching some of these films your mentioning :)

I have rather a lot of music on my computer but not the actual cds, so having a cd player in my car isnt really practical. I am wanting an mp3 player around 5 gig, any reccommendations? I also need it to fit in my car, can any normal player fit? if so what cables would I need? cheery o

lol, its been a while since I have seen this topic. I have an update on my hub too, it turns out bike dock lied about what hub I got! They advertised it on their site as an am classic, but in fact it was a GREY CLASSIC, my bike shop hadnt seen one of these for years and as far as they knew were no longer made (true?) I now have a PROPER am classic 140 disk hub, had it for a few months without any problems.

indeed, just ask on here for a brocken frame, I am sure someone would have one. It worked for me. Otherwise just look on ebay and buy the cheapest, crappiest bike with a 1 1/8th head tube.

I dont think I will bother with tinting then, it sounds more hassle than its worth. I think I will just make some blinds that you pull down when parked up or somthing.

I love to make my bike as light as possible, but I still would never use that chain even if I was given one. I have hurt my self too much from broken chains, its just not a place I am gonna try to save weight. it does look prettly cool though
