    Sun Rims?

tried it (I have my old rim for sale on ebay) it worked very well, grinds lasted ages, but it was too narrow for my needs.
  4. cool, I thought of doing that a while back but dismissed it as being far out maan. a (Y) for trying stuff though

    Sun Rims?

    sun doublewide, google it (Y)
  6. I have only seen the first vid yet, the riding was pretty cool. I couldnt stand the music though (Y) ruined the whole vid for me :(

    Sun Rims?

sounds like my old double wide, it had 104 holes that I drilled  I found grinds lasted ages on them too.
  8. I feel like I am pretty healthy, i dont drink (shut up guys  ), smoke or take drugs, I go for runs and ride regually. I dont eat as healthly as I could though and I need to drink more. Other than my injuries, I cant complain.
  9. but if your hands are in the same place it makes no difference. steep head angle + short stem = slack head angle + long stem and its olny flatland bmxs that have perfectly straight forks isnt it? every other bmx frok has a straight leg, but the axle is still raked out forward.
  10. your right, straight forks have the same rake as curved forks (cue FatMike with a paint diagram  ) curved forks are just the traditional way of doing it (like double diamond frames) straight forks are just another way. say you have a steep head angle but with a short stem, then you have a slack head angle with a long stem, the reach is exactly the same with both bikes so they would feel the same. Your hands are still in the same place in comparasen to the front axle. It would tap the same, feel the same on the front wheel, you would only know the difference when you turned.
  11. I am running a rear hope mono trials. Its petty good but not great. I hold for most moves, but as soon as your attention slips, so does the brake. You also get the spoke flex issues, a maggie is much has a much more confident feel when on the back wheel. To round up: Get the disk if your not so much into big moves, it will slip. If you just do small things or are a beginner, then its fine. PS I will probably stick the disk on for muddy comps, thats possibly the only place where a disk would beat a maggie.
  12. primarily it would feel the same, untill you turned.

I have a bmx (Y)" a wtp primate. I went for a bigger ride on it, I must admit its growing on me, its ace for manuals, I even managed to sidehop to rear to the back of a bench :) not half bad with 80psi :) still would like a 24" frame though. I whacked my shin with my pedal though, god dam that hurt!!
  14. ha ha, that was quality! (Y) That event was a right laugh, some ace riding went down and as you saw, some great crashes too :) That vids deffo a keeper.
  15. sorry, I dont know about those hubs
  16. If its a king then the lock ring is (very) loose, tighten it up and it should be fine. (I guess at least one person will have posted by the time this is done (Y) )
  17. yeah I remember seeing that. Wasnt it the freeride guy though? It was the guy doing it off the embankment onto the loose soil downslope wasnt it? looked pretty rad.
  18. I have been wanting to try them for ages but I am too much of a wuss to actually attempt them. Give me a foam pit or a swimming pool however :P
  19. I knew you'd say that :P" I am just thickle
  20. ok, I aint one for history really :(
  21. I dont get it a man with a speach disorder was shopping. First he goes to the bakery "can I have a bum please" he says "dont you mean a bun?" says the baker "yeah, thats right" He then goes to the iron monger "can I have a f**ket please" he says "dont you mean bucket?" says the monger "yeah thats right" He then goes to the clock shop "can I have a cock please" he says "dont you mean a clock?" says the attendant "yeah thats right" he was then walking home and a man asks him for the time "sure" he says "just hold my bum and f**ket while I get my cock out" :(

    Ali C's New Trimx

right, had a proper ride today and to be honest I dont like it that much. Its far too bmxy, its just like a big bmx, but just harder to ride. I want a more trialsy bike that I can gap and sidehop, but then take to the skate park and ride that too. I am tempted to get a 24" frame, is anyone selling one? I will also bung on a rear maggie and have a tyre with some tread at the back and less than 80psi :("
