I have a wtp primat, its pretty cool. If your looking for full bikes I have heard hofman bikes are getting pretty good. If mongoose still do the RAF take a look at that, its was crazy good value. RAF Seems bloody good, cromo frame, forks and bars, 3 piece cranks, oddyssy cassette hub! chrome rims, front and rear brakes.......I might get one!

I would think the ali (Y) bongo would make a nice hooking frame due to the clearence the bb has.

that was his own frame for a college project. He has just bought a very exspensive braizing kit. I have seen his braizing and its very neat, I think I might ask him to make a 24" frame (Y)

I always wear a helmet, I have hit my head 3 times and my helmet saved me. Anyway, I dont think helmets make people look stupid, do motocross riders look stupid in theirs? How about rally drivers? They look pretty normal to me. The only exception is those massive police helmets that look like church bells, now they look stupid (Y)

Hooking was my nemisis untill the other day, I could do sloped walls fairly easily, but virtical ones seemed impossible. There is an upside down canal boat on the towpath near my house, its about shoulder hight. Its as virtical as your gonna get and I have always wanted to try it, but was too scared. The other say I just thought sod it! I tryed it and it was easier than I thought. I can get to bash nearly every time, but a few times I got it to rear wheel only to have my brake slip (dam disk!) one time it didnt slip but my weight was too far back I just pivoted on my back wheel over the edge. This has put a whole new light on hooks for me, I want to try some different ones, but there arnt any more around me (Y) TIPs fast, be confident, weight forward, be confident.

good luck pedalling it when its got a chain on, you would only be able to go backwards. looks pretty wacky though

looks nice without a rear mech, looks much more simple and clean. still not a huge fan of the look of those frames though, they just look over complicated and heavy.

nah, they are non spd, I have worn them a couple or hours each day now, they are slowly getting better. does the bag, water, freezer trick really work? That sounds more fun than wearing or bending them :) would piss work instead of water? :)

the longest ride I have done was an all night session (8 till8) at interact skate park on my bmx, I was riding all night apart from half an hour recovering from a crash. I fell asleap on the train the next morning, almost missed my stop

no your not mising the point, this is the first decent pair of shoes I have got, normally I get cheap matalan jobbies which are really soft and flexible to start with (but dont last long) I didnt know shoes got more flexible as you wore them.

I have just got some new shoes this morning (661 duallys, via post) They are awesome shoes, but a little still (the soal and general material). Is there anyway to soften it all up? Cheers

they way I do it: pop it in the steerer, bung an 8mm allen key into the allocated hole and use the allen key as a lever to push one side of the dr up against the side of the steerer, this then stops it spinning and lets you tighten it up. I havnt had a single prob with my head dr, and thats with swapping it from fork to fork quite often.

but alloy expands faster than steel. If you dont want the post, try squashing it in a vice, or just squash it flat so a vice holds it then twist the frame. you need to shock it loose idealy
