    New Vid

I FINALLY have worked out how to make vids (well, thats a lie, my brother did) I filmed and edited this vid, its my first time ever editing, so go easy. The rider is Iolo (aran cook) on a mess about ride at a local spot, enjoy. here it is I hope the link on eengoedidee works, I aint the most skilled when it comes to computers
  3. I used the new red pads at the euros, I am VERY impressed with them. I was using koxx reds before, they had good grip but as I got tired they would slip, not so with the heatsinks, they kept working and working. This is the best I have ever got my brake working. I only used them for the comp, on a harsh grind. they wore about a mill, I can imagian they wouldnt last very long. I havnt used the in the wet yet, so I cant comment on that. I would probably want these pads for comp only, and use slightly harder (well, longer lasting) pads of every day use. I also have the v brake virsions, I have put them on my bmx chrome rim, they are twice as good as the spanish flys I had on before.

    Wedding Photos

concratulations, I hope it lasts. is a young marrige though (N) blimey I dont wanna get married for years and years and years. still, as long as your happy
  8. I thought the sections were VERY though, but that might just be cos its my first time in masters. I rode REALLY badly (as usual) I dropped 69 dabs and came 5th I think. Akkers is still on the ball, he dropped 25 which is very impressive, shame I never saw him ride the whole day. Slinger and Savage were on fire, I didnt think some of these sections were possible, let alone get scores as low as theirs aat the end of the day (12 th savage and 18 to slinger?) Iolo had a stormer of a ride to take the win in expert, good on you >_< lets hope I ride better at the next one.

its not 521s, its 221 ones, cos they were cheap :( 2 521s would end up being 54mm wide, it would also be pretty heavy

    High Vs Low

I have had my hi fi for a few days now. At first I was a bit worried I had made the wrong desision as I couldnt do ANYTHING on it! I have got used to it a bit more now and I love it, I cant tap anywhere near as high as I could, but fromt friends expirience of high bbs, it comes with time and then taps get a lot higher. I couldnt gap at first, but now I am going further than I could before, I almost landed a 9ft static (slighty sloped though). I LOVE doing sidehops on this bike, I can easily go to back wheel on walls I was struggling to get up at all on other frames, it just floats up. one thing I have found the high bb is amazing for is pigeons (wheelswaps?) I was sooo close to doing a 42" wheelswap. I can also bunnyhop and manual this bike easier than I could my 1065 pure. I have ridden a coust a while back, I wasnt impressed.

    2005 Control

The hi fi is a backup frame for when I dont have a global, I did hae a pure, but it was knackered (so I sold it to iolo ^_^ ) I am waiting for the new global frame at the mo, so I am riding the hi fi.

my hi fi without a booster is stiffer than my pure with an xtr booster
  20. I think brakes on the underside of the seatstays would be good, you need the brake to work most when you are on the edge of soming after hopping up onto it, so the bikes wanting to go backwards, the same direction as the brakes work best.
  21. I have found these work very well at stopping your ankle from rolling over, they have very good support but still leave plenty of fredom to do trials. I cant say I have ever really hurt my ankles riding, I am suffering from traumatic arthritis in both my thumbs though, which is very painful. I used have have a very sore shoulder, but thats sorted its self out now.
  22. not trials specific, but good biking shoes are the 661 dualies, they have ankle protection so its harder to roll your ankle. they are £45 from chain reaction

    2005 Control

I have to agree about the stiffness of the rear, there is no frame flex what so ever!
