rather impressive, I have been riding 6 years and am well of your standards. my gaps have gotten bigger, but 3 times as harsh, I go through rims like I go through underwear. Do you find the same?

ramps, you dont know me (at least I dont think we have met) I live in hebden bridge (multi map it) it takes about 20mins to get to burnley if that. Burnley isnt a huge place, so its never going to be the best, but there is some decent stuff. The main shopping street is mint, the band stand there is awesome, but after 10 mins riding we got asked to move on saying if we damaged any of the benches and rails we would be prosicuted. >_<

I am a wannabe engineer. I want to study it, but there arnt any couses near me and I aint prepared to leave home yet >_< I wish my parents were into it, or at least have some tools other than a hacksaw, file and grinder. I have so much stuff in my head that I cant experiment with making, it makes me sad (Y)

as some of you might know, I got a yamaha ty175 a couple of months back for cheap off ebay. The bike was a non runner and I have been trying to get it running. The bike didnt have a woodruough key, so I have gotten a new one, also the gaskets on the engine were shot, so they have been replaced. I am having to bump start it as the kickstart is f**ked (gonna weld it on). today it actually got running a few times but it back fire really badly and doesnt tick over. I might take it to a local bike shop, but I can imagian it will be exspensive. So if any of you guys knows about this stuff, I would love to hear your opinions.

deffo section courses for me. I aint a fan of freestyle comps becuase of the variations in judges opinions. In a traditional comp, you know where you stand, you got a dab or two and you will agree with it (in most cases) With freestyle comps, whos to say whats good or not, I know I am more impressed with different things to some of my friends and that really puts me off. Although I did really enjoy the wales indoor comp.

I feel bar hight effects bunnyhop ability more than wheelbase does

fact: short bike are easier to sidehop from both wheels. most people tend to have longer bike these days which is why you dont often see 2 wheel sidehops as they are pretty hard on long bikes. as for the two wheel landings, I am REALLY trying to learn them, but I just cant force myself to go to the side of the bike and tuck, it just doesnt happen. recently I have been going bigger doing the standard front wheel manoover, but tucking to the side as I pivot on the front. seems to help a lot but I cant do it every time. When I try and land both wheels, I am concentrating soo much on getting my rear up, I often dont get the front on which is scary:S

I rode burnley yesterday, was pretty cool although we got banned from tesco (for riding in the car park) and got moved on by security in the center, but otherwise it was cool. Danny Smith lives in Colne, he is one top rider.

tims right, I did a years worth of comps on a standard xc bike, cantilever brakes, triple chainrings, 130mm flat stem and 22" flat bars. It also had 1.95" tyres front and back. still came 3rd overall at the end of the year (Y) I wanna call 24" a stock as I dont like mods

I would, but I think Iolo and me are riding burnley.

goo work Iolo, my bike wouldnt even fit on that bollard unless the back wheel was off the floor :o You have really improved latley, but I guess you have a good teacher :o" we will make a vid people, but the first one is going to be a mess about on on the moors with Iolos skooter that he found in a lake  oh, I recken the photographer did a really good job too :ermm:

maxxis all the way...didnt like the michelin more detail: I find my michelin folds off the rim often, I punctured it twice, the grip was poor and I didnt like the "feel" of it. My maxxis slow reezay tyre has bags of grip, stays on the rim, has a nice "feel" and I havnt punctured it yet.

amazing riding, the vid was really well put together too deffo one of my faves.

I had my hi fi for a month, I absolutly loved it for the first couple of weeks, but after that I began to have my doubts. When I first got it I was blown away with how easy it was on the back wheel. It also made sidehops easier, however my other things were worse off, gaps, taps and so on where just crap. I thought it was because it was a new bike so it didnt bother me, but when after a month I was still shit I decided to sack it off. People also say high bbs are great for natural, I found it the complete opposite, I couldnt ride it to save my life! I would just fall off for the most stupid things. My balence isnt great, but with the extra unstability of the hi bb, I just couldnt keep the bike under control. I also got super harsh on drops because I couldnt get my weight far back enough over the bike to make them smooth. my 2p
