I always remember it being the easy trial of the year with low scores, last year I dropped 8 in expert, all on the first lap too, cleaned the 2nd. I aint sure whats happening with this comp, I dont know if I have sent my form off and I dont know if I can get there (iolo might not be going) I am in a mess :D

I personally wouldnt have any of them, but if you must, get the dmr. also consider the v8, its a perfectly good pedal, I feel the v12 is a bit much

I wear gloves for the same reason as above, although the smell doesnt bother me, I have never washed a set of gloves (Y) I dont wear shinpads, but sometimes I wish I did, like last week where I put a big gash in my knee :angry: edit: heres a pic, its healed up loads now, it was a really deap cut!

nice one wayne, someone had to do it, the crown went crazy when you did it first. I wanted to do the gap, but I really dont like big crowds around stuff that I might kill myself on and I was knackered from the comp and as you said yourself, the take off is well sketchy.

best weekend ever!! I rode like crap for the first two laps (got 40 just for them) but my fird lap was ace, only got 2 dabs, why couldnt I have ridden like that from the beginning, I would have won :S I loved the rock sections, even though I fived pretty much all of them on my first lap <_< dont know what happened there. The man made ones were awesome, and the speed trial section was a great idea. I am pretty sure I set the fastes time on the speed course......39secs with no dabs :( I thought doney was never gonna be beaten with his time B) There was also two of the best street rides I have been on, I never knew everyone was so good :unsure: it was also nice to meet people off here, finally put names to faces. I am sure the scottish people are the nicest I have met, the amount of people who stopped and watched was unbelieveable, and the cheers and claps we got when landing a move was great. The best bit however was the drunk rich guy who handed out at least £200 in cash to riders who impressed him, I got £20 which was spent on a really nice pup meal for me, aran and waddy. Also sexy mike, phil, tom, dave and matt are all nuts, they bloody kidnapped me when I came out of a petrol station, who knows what all the people were thinking :ermm: I am at work now, so cant type too much, I am sure I might edit stuff when I get home. PS if anyone knows the full pro results, I would love to know them Also thanks to fred savage, mick scriven and barbara wright for all the work they put in helping out, also thanks to the observers.

today is the "getting stuff ready" day, but I just wanna check on a couple of things first. What are the rules on gears? do we need 6 working or is singlespeed ok? Are we allowed to wear shorts? (if the weather lets us) I think thats all I need to know. I cant wait, should be ace :ermm:

I always find it weird how people wanna drive as soon as they are 17 (Y) Or maybe I was stranger waiting till I was 21 and doing it (Y) I also used a cd rom to help, its really helpfull, my instructor lent me it. I passed 1st time with 3 minors (Y)

if 24" bikes were allowed in comps, I would love somthing like that (but a bit longer). But I am afraid I am gonna repeat people above by saying it needs to be more bmxy.

narr, years back when pashley was starting trials, Edd used to run a stickered up sunn. I have seen a couple on ebay, really nice simple frames.

I also loved the ruffian lock ons, lasted me 7 months though, not 3 weeks :- I used to love monty foams, but I cant stand them now, I am sure the thin grips make my arm pump worse.

I can do about 30 when I have the energy but I never feel comfortable in the push up position. I can do about the same pull ups, but I much prefer them. the hardcore virsion is to clap your hands when you get to the top, then catch the bar again. I can do about 5 or 6 in a row. I also did 15 of them with a full camp rucksack on........go me!

untill a better shoe comes out, nothing can match the 661 duallys for ankle protection! Trials shoes have really crap prtection, hardly worth having at all (the ones I have tried anyway) The only bad thing about the 661's is the weight

sorry, I didnt manage to watch it all. I flicked forward but it still didnt entertain me. I liked the camerawork, I rather like getting nice unique shots, but for it to work I think you need a rider whos goes big or has a really nice style, or both (no offence).

cheers, thats really helpful :) I think the carb needs some adjustment too, its drinking petrol like a fish, I think it has a leak somewhere or is putting too much petrol into the cylinder (hence all the smoke). That might be why it hasnt got much power when it does run too.
