  1. I love slow music. If I rode to music (which I dont) I wouldnt want fast music, slow and controled is where its at, riding and music (Y)
  2. nice big flashy moves in elite, ones that look good, but arnt dangerous :) not too long mind
  3. I will be there is wad can give me a lift. I will be running my crappy wide rim though, the grind will wear off in the first section I bet, I miss my ronnie  wayne, if you see mick before the comp, could you check if he has my bag left over from fort bill? if he could bring it along that would be ace :)
  4. I really like chilled out music like badly drawn boy, cold play and radiohead I also really like Blur, supergrass, super furry animals, muse and the flaming lips
  5. nice :) those rims dont last me long at all, I flatspot them for fun, not quite as big as that though
  6. I was rather embarrast when I had to go to the doctors to show him my swolen bollox (from landing on my stem) Then I went to the hospital and had ultra sound scan on them which involves putting lube of your balls and rubbing the scanner across them, mega embarrasing! espcially when he gives you a tissue to "clean my self up" :)
  7. I also got my first car at 21, so they might have given me cheaper rates because I am older?
  8. I was working on a secret frame prototype but didnt have photoshop. no copying my design bike companies (barr orange)
  9. I got 50% off with pass pluss with tesco :)
  10. lol, I think I was drunk :) It was meant to say be-friend a bikeshop and ask you to get one trade price from king, they are £35!! I think thats what I might do.
  11. to be honest with you I dont know why I got a king, I guess it was a spur of the moment thing  I really like fsa headsets, they are brill
  12. I have been a bum for the last 7 years although I started my first ever job a month or two back, working at my lbs, dont get payed for it though  I did go to collage for 3 years, so I have a few qualifications. I have never though about what I wanna do in the future, I cant imagian any job that I would enjoy doing and I aint about to go and move house any time ever! roll on lottery win!!
  13. brfriend a bikeshop and sak you to get one trad price from king, they are £35!! I think thats what I might do. Also, ask your shop to do you a receipt for the hub so you can then try and get it warrentied (though I doubt they would) aspire velotech do them for $85 but you have to pay postage from america I also saw that bodge, its pure genious!! but I cant be bothered to do it as I have a spare hub to ride lol
  14. the lower bearings in my race face duce headset all fell out  they were knackered I now have a king and love it. I personally would go for a light weigh headset, they have to take loads more beating on a trials bike. Think about it, road and mountainbikes dont put much stress through a headset, but trialsriders do pivots, taps, hooks front hops, alsorts, much more than what light weight headsets can put up with.
  15. I use an 18 tooth cog and bash, so I can get away with a noarrower bb
  16. I am using a 113mm axle on mine
  17. I am on 18-15 with 175mm cranks, its by fare the best gearing I have used!
  18. pah, its not speed that counts it distance :- I once did a 2-3mile coaster in france back in my downhilling days, all the way from Les Gets to Morzine down the road :P
  19. I dunno how you guys wear tyres out so quick (Y) I have slow reezay front and rear, had them for a good few months now and they are only really showing wear now
  20. You do realise straight blade forks have the same rake as curved ones? I really reccomend pashleys, I think the curved fork really suits 24" and they are as strong as an ox
  21. I LOVE my 661 duallies, I really rccomend them. Best ankle protection out, ace sole and they do up nice and tight! I really want some five 10 shoes though, when my duallies wear out I will get some
  22. I did indeed do it. I removed the inner walls and got them welded, Fatmike kept the walls inplace and ran bolts though it, solves all the problems of heat, but is heavier. I dont think its really worth doing, not when the new echo rim is comming out, 48mm wide and supost to be as hard as alex rims, so should hold grinds better than current wide rims. I also used a sun doublewide, they are pretty decent, holds grinds really well, but the angled braking suface can be a pain for setting pads up with, I also flat spotted mine really easily, but it did have big holes in it.
