  7. the best is Blackstone edge just for the vast amount of rocks, but there is a little half hour (at most) walk to get to them from the car park, it can also be windy. Kebs is second, not as many rocks, but they are bigger and weird fun shapes, again a small walk to them, but only 5 mins orcan is only a tiny clump of rocks, but thre are limitless lines, can park pretty close to this place Widdup res is good, but there is a VERY steep walk to get to them, there arnt as many rocks as the others, but its good for a change.
  8. kebs, orcan rocks are in the hebden bridge/todmorden area in west yorks Blackstone edge is above littleborough, about 8 miles out from tod widdup resevoir is between hebden bridge and colne edit: done a quick crappy map, the rocks are ringed with a camp purple
  9. narr, its on the way to colne, if you look at hebden bridge on a map, you can see a tiny road going over the Colne......its one of the most rural roads ever!!
  10. its about 5 miles from my house, about 2 from wads
  11. lol, I am glad you guys dont work in bike shops (Y) I do it this way: put forks with uncut steerer on bike and set up the stem and any spacers till its at the hight I want. Get a pen and mark the steerer using the top of the stem as a guide. Take forks off again and if you have a saw guid use that to cut at least 5MM BELOW the mark you made with the pen. A hacksaw is best tool, if you havnt got a saw giud, dont worry, cut it the straightest you can, it wont effect the topcap as it wont be touching the top of the steerer. Finally, file away any burrs and fit. The best way I find to fit a starnut without the proper tools is: screw the bolt that comes with it into the nut. Hit the bolt with a hammer into the steerer as straight as you can and about 10mm from the top of the steerer. Job done.
  12. I ride a bit heals out I think. if you can learn to ride with them straight then thats great, but I wouldnt worry too much about it.
  13. vinco is +80, yes that is huge, and yes I hate how it rides. I had a hifi with +55 bb and yes I hate how they ride. I have found + 10- + 20 is spot on, like the control, pure, levelboss, xtp, beleay etc etc, they all ride like a dream.
  14. I bloody wish my field wasnt on a 40 degree hill (Y) I would sell my teeth to have somwhere like that to ride on!!
  15. loving that crash (cant call it a bail as he didnt land on his feet (Y) )
  16. back cowm wants you, either that or kebs, or orcan rocks, or blackstone edge, or widdup resevoir......come to my house and the list is endless (Y)
  17. Ali C works in Blazing Saddles in Hebden Bridge, it has cult status (Y)
