http://www.frappr.com/riddenrl I invite you to subscribe to the map, but PLEASE respect the following rules: There must be the following information in your "shoutout" in order not to be deleted from the map: Required: Complete Name What kind(s) of riding you do (ex. Street, Trials, DH, Bmx, XC, FreeRide etc) E-Mail Address Optional: Phone Number Personal website There must be a shoutout with the required information, nothing more, nothing less. Don't write anything else in your shoutout. -- The main purpose of this map is to unite riders from all around the world so that they can check who rides what and where, and then contact the person to ride with him or her. This map isn't a forum, it is used strictly for informational purposes. Please follow the rules and you won't be deleted. Thanks! -- ******************************** CORRECT FORM EXAMPLE: Elliott Verreault BikeTrials, FlatlandBmx. (...)@hotmail.com www.RiddenClothing.com ******************************** -- The website doesn't take postal codes outside of the US. So click on " Not in the US?" (which is most likely because it's the TrialsUK forums) and write your city in the appropriate place. Later on, you'll be able to go adjust your exact position by going in your profile and modifying your location and clicking on " SAVE MARKER POSITION ". You can include a picture. If you have a pic of you wearing Ridden stuff, it would be awesome! It is the RiddenRiderLocator isn't it? Give this link and explain the procedure to all your biking friends. RiddenRL must become a reference! Where you can contact riders from all over the world for a group ride or just a chat! That's why I ask you to respect the rules. That way it will be much easier to contact a rider than if the info is scattered all over the place. Thanks a lot! Elliott Verreault @ www.RiddenClothing.com

How The Hell Has Japan Got The New Tensile Cranks Before We Have?
Ali C replied to Davetrials's topic in Trials Chat
I have the new urban ledgends sitting right here on my lap.....they are nice and shiney -
I had a 110mm x 10 degree hope stem on mine, it was one of the best riding bikes ever....though I recken a bigh higher bars would have made it more fun (ps, hope you like the bars Tom )

some people will tell you they ride nice, but to me they are the worst riding frame I have ever had the misfortune of riding on!
-
family guy owns all!
-
lots of money to be a guinepig anyway, as fat mike was saying, my coust pads should work on any rim really, so I could just get a normal erveryday alex or somthing.
-
right, I am pretty sure my nice new echo rims are too big for my frame (BITCH b*****d f**kER fanny) I have spotted this spank rim with my high powered internet binoculars spank me a good'un! I am interested to know if it will take a grind....if you click the "datasheet" it will tell you its metal properties in great detail. so if anyone can decipher it and tell me if its hard, soft or kinda in the middle that would be super!
-
currently I spend about 20p a week on petrol. Thats because my car has been f**ked since last march and it hasnt been fixed,so I havnt driven since then....but I do chip in when I go in Iolo's car

What Is The Difference Between 04 And 05 Maguras?
Ali C replied to Jaffacakes's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
heres my resoning for not liking the 05 ones 1) the lever blade feels as good as broken glass 2) the lever is made out of cheese (and I mean the really gooy stuff, after its been melted even more as well!) you can snap the levers just by pulling too hard. 3) the tpa is crap, really hard to get to and can seize 4) the lever blade is too close to the bars (can be sorted with a file though) 5) the lever blade is too short, reducing the power. the 04 levers are better (stronger, feel betteretc) but are still not perfect, we need hope to make a nice lever, that would rock! (ps, I have never broken a tpa on an 04 lever in 4 years! I dunno what you guys are doing to break them ) -

What Is The Difference Between 04 And 05 Maguras?
Ali C replied to Jaffacakes's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
the difference is the 05 are crap (proven fact) and the 04 are better (but not perfect) -
gahhh, this dam tuck has plagued me for aaaages, I can do it, but only if I land front wheel first, then pivot the bike to the side....I just cant make myself put it to the side of me on the way up

I agree with chris.... a mod will get you good quick, so if you wanna impress your mates and look good quick go for mod. However, you wont learn the skills as much as you would on a stock......a mod is kinda handing you skill on a plate. Stocks take longer to learn on (debatable) but you need to move your body about more (body english) to get good results....this is really good for you in the long run as when you start going bigger you already know the body movment, just need to make them bigger.........with a mod, the bike does half the work. Thats the reason why I started on stock, its just so much more satisfiying than mod. also, I see just about every new rider getting a mod, then they just learn to back wheel and just do that all the time, as if their front wheel doesnt exist....it drives me up the wall....whatever bike you get, just remember that theres more to rear wheel control

wayne!! You need to chat with Iolo and tell him all that needs doing, kick his ass into gear and look up ferrys and get the right forms and so on. I would, but I am a forgetful faggot and wouldnt be much help atall.

disk for sure.... ....dont worry about landing on it, its all in the mind! Think you will land on it and theres more chance you will.....think about not hitting it and making the move, you will be suprised how much difference it makes. Anyway, even if you do hit a disk, they are harder to break than you would think....sure you may bend the roter a touch and it might rub, but its not like we are riding big distances where it would be a problem.......I havnt had a free running disk since....well...forever!

grow older and get some nice trialsin muscles.....also have a personailty that is hard to piss off, but if someone REALLY gets at you, you go phyco! helps a lot I think good insurence is the best bet, if theres just a small group or less, you have a good chance of defending yourself, but if they have wepons then just let it go and think of the nice shiney new one you will get. Also if your not on the bike, taking the chain off, or putting the tpa right on so the wheels wont turn is a good idea, its gonna be harder to get away with a bike if you have to run off holding it. Maybe even somthing simple like putting a stick through the spokes if you leave the bike would work?
