  1. the frame mounts are 95mm, hopfully that can answer your rim question? It takes a 73mm shell and yes, it can be set up very streety, bosh on a 90mm stem and some 2" risers and your away! Though that doesnt limit you street, I came 3rd in elite at a comp with that setup too.
  2. cheers dude, I am running a 105mm stem and 2" bars and its sweet
  3. a lot of its down to how you have your bar and stem set up. A short high bar and stem will make more difference than the wheelbase of the bike. I still say ashton though, this isnt because of sponsorship though, I genuinly believe the ashton is the nicest mid length bike out, its PERFECT for someone who wants to do streety stuff AND ride natty. Also, another tip I have for easier bunnyhops.........tilt your bars back a little, the rear sweep really does help!
  4. I didnt like my goodridge hosing at all! it made my brake really slow and mushy. I use maguras own and its awesome!
  5. I wouldnt use a maggie without braided hosing, they are the best thing since sliced bread!
  6. you could just make a strong mech hanger rather than tensioner? Thats what I did and its been great!! took 10 mins to make!

    Shameless

    I hate it, ohwell
  8. going to 26" will be the best thing you ever did!! dont worry about wether you will be able to ride them or not, you will be able to ride it (people who say they are harder are just quitters)
  9. just bought some ti axles for my onza mag pedals, thats pretty extreme

    NEW ASHTON

best looking bike ever? quite possibly, makes mine look like shit anyway :P, mine is super scratched and mangled now lol. how does it ride with the longer stem? I am using a 90mm long stem at the mo, might be using a 110 long one soon, hopfully it will be better for comps :)
  11. caustic soda gets it off very easily, but dont mix it too strong as it can eat through the rim
  12. another vote for ashton! set it up with a 90mm stem and 2" risers and its the sweetest street bike ever, bunnyhops to the moon, but is still roomy enough to ride natural. If you get fed up of streety stuff...bosh on a longer stem and it makes a mint comp bike..............it really is a do it all bike!
  13. kinda suprised no one mentioned an ashton justice best riding bike I have been on, probably the best looking as well. wheelbase is just what your after at 1065 too. Dont forget they are cheaper than most of the competition too. If for some reason you dont want an ashton, then I say an echo control is the 2nd best riding frame out there

    Crank Flips

I am weird when it comes to crank flips, I can do them, but only left footed, this is strange as I am right foot forward I am pretty comfotable doing them though, dont need to watch them or anything and can just about do them on either my front or back wheel. I recken I do them left footed as that foot is used to scooping the pedal up from bunnyhoips and so on, I just do the same movment with my foot except kinda upward, hey presto a crank flip.
  15. heres a link for you but its not got any vids on it, the two I like are both dvds and are not on the internet anywhere.
  16. my fave vid ever is revoloution!! might not have the best riding in, but its got ACE music and has a really fun friendly vibe to it. hibernation is pretty cool too...got me in it
  17. double sided tape, just roll up each edge of the grip, wrap it around the bar and peel off backing, roll grip back down and no more slippy grips
  18. not much makes me actually laugh out loud, but I almost choked when I saw that!! BEST CRASH EVER!!
  19. I tried a range of pads on my vee and koxx greens were by far the best
  20. I heard that it was gonna be sunny spells for tomorrow Though, it is snowing at the mo
