  1. I'll bring my hyperfirnia (sp?) bag for you then wayne I am up for a bit of soakage, but only if theres a roaring fire to sit next to after
  2. narr, bmx's suck, well 20" ones do 24" or 26" bmxs/trials hybrids are where its at!
  3. what goo did you use? When I did my wheel I soulc stab it with nails and spokes and it would seal it in seconds! I even put my lightest tyre on and whacked the wheel as hard as I could on a sharp corner, nothing happened! well, thats a lie, the rim dented a little and I ripped a knob off the tyre, but there were still no leaks. I think it can work well for the front, but not as great on the back, the tyre roll leaks air. BUT if its on a street bike or you like to run 50+psi then its great.
  4. the way I do it is: get a 20" innertube and strech it over the rim, slice it down the middle and spread it open (clean it too) mount the tyre on with the flaps of innertube on the outside, leave an open section of tyre and pour in half a cup of latex. I just got a litre of liquid latex off ebay (nothing special, just bog standard stuff), you will need to water it down, a little bit of trial and error is needed to get the latex how you want. pop the rest of the tyre inplace and inflate with a compressor. when its sealed (if it does!) hold the wheel up and shake it so the latex makes full contact with the tyre bead. now trim away the excess innertube and ride away.
  5. great minds think alike, I had the same idea for mounts a while ago, nice to see it was a reasonable idea
  6. you serious?? echo rims are THE WORST rims I have ever had, one side was straight, the other was all over the place, this was when I was building it up too! my first one I killed after 3 rides, the second one wouldnt stay straight and the spokes would loosen every ride so I took it off. Alex dx32s get my vote as good rims
  7. is that stitch worthy? I have had some biiig holes in my legs and always left them, they end up as a dent, but seem good otherwise.
  8. some really made me laugh! shame I couldnt/didnt go
  9. loking good, that place looks really nice to ride too. glad to hear your liking the ashton too
  10. one of the nicer mods I have seen, looks like a small 26" I really like the graphics and headtube area, looks ace.

    Phil Feeney

liked that a lot very much the type of stuff I want to do, but am learning at the mo. I just dont understand crankflips though, they tease me so much! I can do them every time left footed, easy as pie on the flat, sometimes on the rearwheel and sometimes on the front wheel, now heres the catch, I am right foot forward and I cant do it for shit with that foot! gaaahhhhh anyway, nice vid, top riding and mintybobs editing.

  16. how are you getting there peter? have you found a lift or are you still wanting one from me if I can get one?
  17. ben, I thought I was being a tad closed minded as I said I didnt like the inch hunting style of riding, the way I put it seemed to me like I was saying it was crap and no one should be doing it. But it is pretty cool, I wish I could go as big as you guys do! but I also agree about the "I dont care what I ride" comment blaaa, cant put it down in words that well. .... summery, do what you like, where you like, on what bike you like and do what you do.
  18. I still need to send off my british cycling licence, I'll do that on monday. Can anyone give me a lift there? I dont think iolo is going any more
  19. hmm, makes me feel a tad closed minded now I did go though a segment of inch hunting, but it wasnt for me. Others might enjoy it and thats great if they do, they shouldnt feel bad because of their style. PS I loved the dvd!
  20. I cant go my cranks decided to give up the ghost. have fun everyone
  21. I have been saying this for a while. if you see my Gravity and Bangor vid (both on tartybikes) hopfully that will show I am more into the style type of riding rather than tap gap sidehop all the time.
