oi oi oi!! mods arnt cheating, but almost I rode one for 2 or more years so I aint totally against them, but I just feel stocks are far superior (I spose its because I come from a mtb background)
got some of those pads they are seriously grabby!! best hold of any pad on any brake I have tried (even avids) its not all good though, they squeel like pigs and get water on them and say goodby to any power at all!! not sure how long they will last either......I am just gonna take them along to comps and use them if I need the extra power. so I am after pads for everyday and comp use. seems sintered could be the way, but I'll wait for some more replys before buying
but whiiich is more powerfull??? I knew about the sintered helping reduce heat for dh, but that doesnt matter in trials, I just want to know which is the more powerful compond cheers for the replys so far though
I have a magura marta and the power is somwhat lacking at the mo. I am getting a couple of pads, some to use some as spairs, but I am stuck...... ......I always thought organic was meant to be the more powerful pad, yet on chainreaction it advertises sintered pads as having more power. I just need someone to tell me straight so I can go and order them. cheerio chappies oh, then theres the issue of which pads??? Magura's own? kool stop? a2z? goodridge? fibrax? EBC?
I like to big up ashton when I can, but I wont slag off other companies for no reason......I still like leesons, iolos, echos purs, some koxx etc if I slag somthing off its because I personally dont like it, not just to get people onto an ashton
your talking long mods year? I want to know the same thing. If a short mod doesnt fit you, then surly a stock is the next step? long mods are the worst thing since chicken pox!!
still sounds good to me, I dont drink so that doesnt really bother me at all. a 2 day trial would have been nice, as its a long way for me to go for just a days ride, but I still try my best to come and enter
but thats bad, the reason I dont like mods is that they are almost too easy, I didnt get any satisfaction from riding them as I knew I wasnt been pushed as hard as I would on a stock. I just felt like I earned my rewards on a stock. had a go on a friends long levelboss mod the other day, I almost threwup it was so horrible!!
weaker gaps???? are you maaaad!! mods are the easiest things to gap ever!! its cheating they arew that easy I would say stick with 26" if your riding street, I find trhem are much more suited to it, or maybe even get a 24"? they are awesome!! for street riding a mod would be my last choice!!
check that the serrated metal tabs on the end of the axle havnt snapped off and are interfeering with the cassette lock ring, I have had it happen twice to me and once to a friend
a it repetative for my likes, it just seems younger riders nowerdays only seem to do the same stuff, just seems to me that your missing out on half the fun of riding big gaps though, gaps are always good
cant deny your a good rider...but you have some weird style like your gaps, you take off a foot away from the edge and sometimes jump a foot in the air in the final bounce. but if it works for you then thats fine, just looks a little weird thats all.
love the seat bike looks good too, one of the better ones I have seen. The only thing I dont like about these frames is that they are too small, they would look a lot nicer if they had a longer seat tube
theres more to a good bike than being nice on the back wheel, infact backwheel handling isnt the first thing I look at when getting a frame. Its a nice looking bike, but saying that, I wouldnt want it.
I saw the adverts for it and I thought it looked crap, he can be funny sometimes, but he trys too hard to do his "I m not trying to be funny" or whatever type of humour he likes to do. the episode was utter bollox like most recent simpsons, they should stop making it before it does an ugly death and people have got sick of them (nearly there in my eyes)
