GO Tom!!! Looks like you are as beastly as eve, that sidehop to rear was nuts and that drop to slope was sweet! Cant wait for your full vid
  5. its olmost like my first yellow monty....get it built
  6. I wonder who told me that info?
  7. but if the weather is shit, then why not do somthing else that helps riding? like run, or do some light weights or go swimming...plenty to do guys
  8. normal pro 2 hub body, pro 2 trials freehub body and a tiny bit lathed off the spacers and bobs your uncle, a mod hope hub
  9. I have the new hope m4 rotor and its mint! the braking band fits avid bb7s perfectly and my brake is amazing. Before that I had reall trouble trying to get it to work, I tried loads of pads and a few rotors, I eventually got that rotor as well as some organic avid pads and it was the best thing I ever did!
  10. I agree, but is having the goals and beating them as satisfying as doing the same with comps? Propbably for a lot of people actually me included sometimes, but with comps you get medals
  11. if its too wet, then there the gym, climbing wall or indoor skatepark that is good to do for cross training
  12. I have been riding 8 years now and I see people slacking often, even me at one point or another. I still do it as I always have goals, they are comp based......win a comp, come top 5 that year, move up a cat etc, now I have been moved into masters at the worlds that makes me want to ride even more, now my next goal is to do as well as I can at the worlds. I guess it can be moved to street riding as well, but I cant see it being as satisfying.
  13. I knew about it dont know any good details though
  14. yep, the sea will freeze over too!
  15. I swear by avid brakes and levers, even the cheaper models are great. I use the speed dial feature a lot, xtr lever are not as adjustable as avids (the "speed dial" feature on them is pretty poor). XTR levers I have had in the past have all fallen apart too.
  16. hahaha, we'll see what happens, if I have nothing planned for that weekend I wouldnt mind seeing what the hype is about!
  17. cheers for the news pat, I was really hoping to be moved up...congrats to Dan and Wayne too
  18. I will........NOT be buying one, dont care for phones, I never use mine.
  19. nass has never really seemed to be my cuppa tea, paying to ride for 15 mins and then waiting aaages doesnt sound like fun...would be cool to watch some bmxing though
