  1. I find that when people just have a quick go, they like the ease of rear wheel control, its pretty much always the first impression that people go with. Thats what happened with me anyway, but I soon found that the rear wheel control comprimised the bikes other uses. I dont have the best balence in the world, so I found that on a high bb bike, my center of gravity was noticably higher and I could randomly fall off for no reason. Theres soooooooo much more to how good a bike is than rear wheel control, sure high bb bikes are good at some stuff (hooks backwheel control and aparently gaps to front are nicer) but since when has a normal frame been hard on the rear wheel? I think sidehops, normal gaps, staying on the bike once landing moves, bunnyhops, manuals, and general balence are all better on low bb bikes I dont want to sound bigheaded or anything, but it nearly always seems to be the newer, learner rider who like high bb frames (just because of the rear wheel control I think), I can count the number of top riders who use bbs over 30mm on one hand.
  2. not being narrow minded, I had a high bb frame and it was honestly the worst frame I have ever owned, I would rather do trials on an xc or jump bike than any high bb frames. Anyway, I never said he shouldnt get one (dont get one!) I just personally think they are the scurge of the oceans! You do get the odd rider who are super good on high bb frames (damon) but I am pretty sure he would be even better than he already is if he got a low bb frame. Most people I have seen on high bb frames are either beginners who dont know any better, people who want to be like damon and think only a high bb frame will make them like him and actual good riders who can ride them well. I agree with leon, long low bikes with long low stems and flat bars suck! but a nice long low frame with a medium legth high stem with some risers is just the sex! turns it into a do it all bike.
  3. my worst nightmare!! sos pal, I dont like either, I'll leave it for the high bb lovers to all to say get the GU
  4. lol, he is world no1........at dabbing he does well because he is really fit and can race around the easy bits so he has time to dab the hard bits.....still, he has skills.

    What Rider?

I like to watch akkers, vince, nicky G unit, feeelix, kenny beleay, stan shaw, martyn ashton and danny mac, they all gimme the urge to ride.
  8. unless you crash straight into the backside of the landing, an ashton would hold up fine on dirt

  13. worst riding frame ever? to me...yes, but other people for some reason like them, so whatever floats your bat really. They are nice looking frames though.
  14. I have had two people say that their joypads wore down quick, it seems pretty random, perhaps the pads you got were from a block of rubber that was 100% mixed right (I dont mix them btw). Most people have been happy with the wear rate, I would like to keep customers happy, so if you want Kris, I'll do you a free replacment pair as I am not satisfied with how long your pads lasted.
  15. scotty had as nice style as anyone I have seen in that short vid, cant see anything bad stylewise

  17. were there any good adverts? I watched the first two lines but thought they were crap, I never seem to like american adverts.
  18. same sorta thing happened when my bikes got stolen from my house, my monty got nicked and a few days later someone I knew came over to show off his brand new monty he just bought off someone for £80, it was miiiine! I bought it back for £24....he then went back to the guy who he bought my monty off and asked if he had anything else...he managed to get a brisa frame that was nicked too....but unfortunatly not my orange patriot. ploice did sod all, we had the name, addresse of the guy selling stolen goods, but the police just send him a letter asking him to go to the police station (he didnt bother going) I am glad Lee got his bike back though
  19. I normally stick the pin in the middle hole on any vee (unless there really too much or too little tension there) theres usually enough adjustment on the brake to get the correct spring tension from the middle hole. how much tension you want is a personal thing, I have my rear vee with as little tension as possible, it makes the brake smoother and easier to pull. What I normally do is wind off the tension untill the lever starts to have slack, I then wind the tension back up untilthe slack is only just taken up, that gives you the least spring tension possible.
  20. bb is too high and theres too much gold, but nice otherwise.
