he could still save weight by having alu bolts in his maggie bleed holes, an alu bolt in is top cap (unless its just a silver slue one) a lighter headset, ti axles for his pedals and so on.

rock pad greens in cnc backings with a very light grind WILL be the most powerful brake out, thats not an opinion, thats a fact.

I dont feel the weight savings are mainly for going bigger, but more for being able to ride at a high level for longer, the lighter the bike, the longer you can ride it without becoming tired.

its just the design of the brake. When the wheel is being pushed backwards through a maggie, the pads get pushed off the rim, with a vee, the pads get pushed onto the rim which increases hold. You may think its all just pants and we dont need the hold, but once I tried a vee, theres no going back!

bad side sidehops and gaps to rear are my weak points

weight forwards and dont go flat, I do the gap like an arc, it helps a lot

preload down rather than down/back

winning a round of the world champs was my fave moment, plus being 3rd overall is cool. Being brit champ back in 2004 was nice being invited to ride at the bikeshow in 2005 was also enjoyable out ranking vince and the cousts at biu comps is nice being number 4 in europe is cool
