  1. lol, the riding in that vid of me on the czar is gash which is why I never put it on here. And yes your right, which is why I dont like this vid of jumping off stuff.
  2. if I wanted to see lemmings, I would buy the game lol thats a tad harsh but I just dont like this style of riding, kids got balls but its the same as every other TGS lemming rider, climb up, jump off. I also find it rather frustrating that making a couple of vids here and there gets more respect and sponsors than the riders who spend a fortune travelling and competing at comps. PS, liked the pivots.
  3. yes, indeed well done to Dan Butler, good result! just a shame about missing the finals Bike looks nice too. The comp was pretty cool, lots of people watching, the sections were a little easier than I was expecting, but I still managed my usual silly 5s,getting contact lenses soon, so we'll see if that helps! I think actually being able to see where I am going should help My first lap score was pretty poor, had 3 5s that really ruined any chances, only had one other dab after them. my 2nd lap was better, just one 5 this time and a couple of dabs, managed to get the same 2nd lap score as Vince!!! Thats made my year! I also cleaned the nissan car section both times, I saw some top riders struggle with that (dam tape aye lads ) there was a big crowd too, they really cheered for the British riders and that felt soooo good. Ended up 18th out of 33 riders, only 3 dabs off ben savage which was cool. Got a lot of training to do now, off to germany on friday too, being pretty busy at the mo! OH, also WON a bike!!! In the nissan tent there was a trackstanding competition, I dont think they had realised there would be trials riders there lol! Myself and Ash (trialnoir) got kicked off after an HOUR, Daniel from sweden also got kicked off after a while, but we ALL got a bike!! A kona Dawg Delux 2008 ltd colour worth £1300, best prize I have ever won! (anyone want to buy it? )
  4. liked the rail pivot, but not the rest, sorry.
  5. I have arthritis in my big toes and it reaally hurts when I jump off my bike. I also have weird bendy elastic thumbs

  9. nope, lever is seperate
  10. looking good joe, hows the first impressions over the pure?
  11. look good! I'll be there riding.
  12. lol, thats a different way of looking at it. surly going big costs more than going smaller and smoother, everyone wants to be the next cls, tunny or damon, but they have made it hard for the rest of the tgs riders to get noticed as they go so big. Going smaller and being smooth with your own style is more attractive to potentiol sponsors, plus its kinder on the bike and will cost less in repairs. Also, going smooth doesnt mean you'll always be doing small moves.....look at Stan, he can gap over 9ft flat and never rim out, he can go REALLY big, but I dont think I have ever seen him snap a part, in my eyes thats the way to go riding wise.
  13. just seems your trying to go too big too soon without getting the fundamentals down first (wouldnt have messed up in the air then). Seen a few friends who could barley trackstand yet they had the idea they needed to huck themselves off big walls, your not as bad as them obviously, but its kinda the impression I get.
  14. sorry to hear it Danny, get well soon! I do get the saying "trying to run before you can walk" in my head though

    Powerball.

you cant really comment if you havnt tried one, its not just the movments, the gyroscopic movment inside the ball can get up to the equivelent of 30lbs (or somthing like that) try getting a bike wheel, spinning it and then twist it with your hands, its hard, the powerball is the same, but smaller and lighter. Also, £12 is a wee bit cheaper than going to a gym and it can be done while watching tv or somthing. I got bored of mine though, it gives me blisters on my little fingers (my best was 12000 though)
  16. narr, we went to the UCI world cup round in belgium the weekend before and I couldnt afford to go to both. Not really into BIU comps as much now. Well done to Scott for 3rd!
  17. get a pan, put water in, put pad in, put on cooker and let it boil for a few mins....never failed with me.
  18. heh heh, yeah, do that boiling water always does the trick for me.
