  1. cool stuff, I didn't mind the music, I found it nicer than screemo shouto noise. I did notice one thing though...when you gap, you jump back before you go. you're making the gap nearly a foot bigger than it needs to be! I recken you'll be gapping further if you take off from the edge.
  2. as I said on the phone, I think the trialtech bars and simtra stem would be perfect! You said your setup was a tad low, the trialtech bars have more upsweep than your onzas so should bring the front up a bit (as well as feel amazing) I use a trialtech stem as well, some people find it a tad tall, so the simtra stem should bring it slightly lower and closer which sounds just what your after at your hight. Its also worth experimenting with spacers when you fit your forks, find a hight you find best then cut the forks. PS, welcome to the world of stocks!
  3. looks cool! might be hard to recreate though By the way, people are welcome to ride the quarry as it is, just beware of the machines working up there.
  4. when trialtechs are out, they are a different (better) design....thought I would point that one out
  5. cheers buddy. I must point out thats only one of the ares being developed, plus they look better/more impressive in real life
  6. lol, I know everyone of those rocks in that vid! Because of that I know how hard they are.....very! For someone who says natural isnt their thing, I think it should be!!
  7. lol! I can see bessel is looking....get your pics up geez!
  8. yep, cheers to the slingers, they have put a lot of work into these events, also to the observers giving up their day....ta! Well done to Savage the elite win, also to Tim Steadman for yet another win (on form this year!)
  9. ok, update time. Just got back from the 3rd round of the British Champs held at the quarry. Phase one of the trials areas is nearly completed but there was still enough to hold some pretty decent sections. I chatted to a few people and I never heard one negative comment about the quarry, so it seems like the work is successful so far. Still to come are concrete tubes/shapes, imported rocks (limestone, granit) more logs, possibly some tyres and concrete sleepers. I could do with some feedback from whoever rode the quarry today, liked what was there? should I change any thing? What would you like to see there? Hopefully there will be some pics up for those who wern't there to see. Phase 2 will start in a couple of months time and I am hoping there will be even more phases in the future.
  10. cool, cheers guys, thats what I thought, but my mum wanted me to take off all my vids incase they sued me or somthing

I thought you could use songs as long as they were not in a profit making scheme. James Hyland atctally made the vid, who would be to blame if it went tits up? Cheers Ali
  13. got the spokes in the correct side? usually the shorter length go on the drive side.
  14. make sure you havn't bent the pulling arm and making it catch on the bolt behind, I have had that happen a few times.
  15. love it! looked like fun, looks like you were riding well Ads
  16. sorry, but I can never forgive you for typing "everything" in an over the top essex way!
  17. as said, yes you can grind it, but don't expect to get it parallel with the frame, you would almost deffo go though the top of the rim making it useless.
  18. been at the quarry this afternoon sorting out the last few sections before the comp...if all goes to plan there should be a few brand new awesome sections to ride, including rails, logs, concrete pipes and stuff, rocks, cable reels and concrete sleepers. Will be well worth entering or at least popping up to check it out.
  19. make sure you havn't clicked a faster delivery option by mistake, it shouldn't be more than a couple of pounds for delivery

    Bmx, Daft.

Same as Ben, I saw two points he made Ryan look like a dancing squirrel with no legs.
  21. cheers for popping these up adam. Dan Brooker has done some class paintjobs in the past, so I just had to have one! I had some (very) vague ideas for dan to work on, plain or off coloured main colour with some uci stripes and space to put my name and sponsors. The rest was up to him. Got the helmet back last week and I am VEEERRRYY happy! the finish is top class and I think the colours with a hint of gold work really well, I am well chuffed Cheers Dan
  22. what a day!! Last time I ever get stuck with the number 13 as my rider number!! Started off soo well, did 4 sections with two dabs dropped (one dab because I had to ride the section with my chain off!). I was unlucky and had bike troubles which stopped my ride. I did manage to steal nick goddards bike to ride the skip section (cleaned it, in the rain YAY) I am REALLY annoyed, the sections were brill and I was riding great, I recken I could have been on the podium. To top it off, I couldnt start my van after the trial, after a load of faffing (cheers the oakleys and slingers!!) it got going, only to flunk out on the motorway. The RAC guy found I had a snapped alternator belt, after more faffing I managed to finally get going again. Actually, to top that off some more, the road near my house was closed so I had to do a 10 mile detour! AAARRRGGGHHH Cheers for everyones hard graft to get the comp together, it was great!
  23. a nice effortless 360 front pivot feels amazing
  24. start with your strong foot higher and with a standing start, pedal constantly throughout crouching slightly over the front. Hit the front wheel a tad lower and jump your body a fraction before the bike gets shot up, let the bike come up under and slightly in front of you and only brake once the wheels up. if you get it right the bike will end up with you directly over the rear wheel in a comfortable backhop position.
