  1. what if you find a big gap when riding natural?
  2. the big chunky welds are a giveaway for them being alloy Seen these in the flesh and on a bike, they are the mutts nutts, the final ones will be awesome!
  3. how random, I have ridden one of those spots in your vid, its in a town outside Barcelona. There's a cool park nearby with a weird red brick climbing thing....have you ridden it? Props on the vid too, was pretty cool.
  4. I am pretty sure rims are drilled after they are made. There was a time before drilled rims where everyone did their own, as long as you don't go nuts then it will be fine
  5. no, I just have a "deal" with kenny as he gave me a disk brake when mine broke.
  6. I know I am a basher! But ROWEN!!!! I never call him by his name, to me he is "mr smoooth" PS, ta for those who put my name! I must say that I am not the best though, Ben Slinger is pretty awesome at comps and Rowen Johns owns the streets, they are the UKs best riders in my eyes
  7. naarrrrr! I always thought I was better looking Tim Henman!
  8. great quality vid! Like you said, a little "arty" filming and editing wise, but as long as the sponsors are happy. Rafals crash was hardcore! I heard his head hit the rock from the top of the seating area! I saw my head too:D PS. Wes, I shall get kenny his brakes soon! The chap at hope I need to talk has been on holiday.

    The Olympics

I will try and watch the bmx racing.....maaaybe the diving and then I'll switch it off. I find the whole lot pretty boring to be honest, ESPECIALLY swimming, running, cycling, sailing and hockey.

    Wheels

I personally prefer viz nipples, they have a little more meat on them so are harder to round off with the spoke key. I have built many wheels using them (including my own) and I have never broken one. if you pop a little oil on the threads before you tighten the spokes they wont seize either.
  12. you 100% sure? I saw him get up and walk after the fall (which was harsh! I heard his head hit the rock from the top of the grand stand!) The comp was cool!! Much more tech than I was expecting, there were no big moves in the qualifying, the main problem was staying inside the tape! It was a low scoring qualifying round, so any mistakes got punished! I had an OK comp, did some good stuff, did some bad stuff. I was happy to qualify though. The semi finals were a little harder, I think I could have gotten out of all the sections if I hadn't been riding like a mong. I did clean one of the trailer sections though, so that made me happy. The finals looked hard, but I recken they were a bit easier than in the past. Much bigger moves needed though. Slinger did well getting out of a few, I was well impressed!
  13. lol I can barley last 10 seconds into a tgs vid before switching it off......I watched Rowans aagain as soon as it finnished (and again this morning:P)
  14. Claimed, but at that price I doubt it!
  15. WOW!! You were my fave street rider before, now I think you could just be my fave rider!! I would never think of some of the lines you are doing let alone doing them as big and as smooth as that! The music was PERFECT!!! really melted the vid together. Cant wait till your next ones.
  16. yeah, someone mentioned it was on tv, was it about the same area (scammonden and blackstone edge)? I am still mega confused by it, it wasnt a glider or a weather baloon.......It was 20ft above my head, close enough for me to hear it rushing through the air!! It was small, slightly larger than a rugby ball I recken. Phil: I was just on the top of the cliffs near the beginning, the rocks carry on up the hill on a slight slope, I lost sight of it as it went over the horizon, I wish I was on higher ground so I could have seen it for longer. Chris: Aparently the bunker is in the dam for Scammonden Res (only steel re-enforced earth dam in the country, or somthing like that)
  17. lol, saw that on top gear! Sounds cheesy with me saying it was a rugby ball (or cigare) shape, everyone always say they are that shape!
  18. ha ha no! not drunk or on drugs:P Couldn't have been an electric redio controlled toy, blackstone edge is on one of the tallest moors in my area, I never saw anyone with a controller and its too remote up there for the radio signals to reach from any houses. Plus, it didn't have any wings, propellor or any visible signs of propulsion. If you want to get into conspiracies "apparently" there's a secrete underground bunker in a dam of a nearby resevoir.
  19. peeps! I was enjoying a lovley summers day ride at blackstone edge with stan yestderday, clear skys, brill weather! I was having a breather and I heard a sound of rushing air, I looked up and there was a rugby ball shaped (and sized) object flying through the air about 20ft directly above us at roughly 30pmh. I am REALLY confused as to what it was!! It wasn't a bird (no wings, head or tail feathers to be seen), wasn't petrol powered (cuts out radio controlled toys), it was totally silent, the only reason I looked up was because I heard the sound of rushing air. It wasn't thrown by anyone as there was no one near enough. I lost sight of it as it went over the rocky horizon. Anyone got any ideas? I almost thought it was some kind of missile and half expected an explosion. Apparently the surrounding area is well known in the UFO community, I am normally sceptical, but I honestly cant think of an explination! (stan dipped out and never heard or saw anything!! grr) Anyone else seen anything?
  20. and by playing with the spacers between the caliper and adaptor
  21. you just discovered the best bit of trials!! I cant imagine not riding natural, its soooo fun!
