  1. I much prefer natural, no two rocks are the same, endless lines and more challenges. Street is s bit boring I find, although I do like a good session every once and a while
  2. I think its 60% technique and 40% power
  3. He knows where its at!

I have an Alu GT frame and fork I picked up for £20, I have cranks, bb, bar, stem, headset, seat and post for it, I just need wheels and a brake (going single speed as well) In other news, I have to big up Iolos recent performance.....he entered a time trial race in liverpool, he entered on his steel frame and fork bike with one gear and rack on the back. He came 3rd! Beating people on carbon time trial bikes with areo bars and everything! Only 9 secs off the winner too. Just thought I would share.
  5. If anyone asks me what trials is, I'll send them to that vid, it explained it very well, good job!
  6. you had a seriously good time yeah? then you took it seriously (nice one on the top 10 too )
  7. had blizzard conditions here last night! So Iolo and myself thought it was the perfect time to go on an expedition to Stoodley pike (pike). I don't think jeans and trainers were meant for crawling through 4ft drifts and bogs, but we made it up. It was soooo windy!, you had to look at the floor because the snow would hurt your face otherwise. We got back at 11pm.
  8. I am going to Barca however I havnt started planning it yet. I hope to go with Stan, Dave (trialtech) and maybe others, we will fly over and probably get a hire car (we did this last year and it worked out great!) Hunt me down at koxx days and we can chat more about it. Ali
  9. I hope its just google translator giving some of its funny answers then, better to be safe than sorry though thats cool then:) when I popped it into google translator, it said "the competition was terrible!" haha
  10. is this matlock quarry or just matlock street? If its the quarry count me in, if its street, count me out.

the front TR is single wall, but not the rear
  12. whoops, maybe a little bit of language lost in translation! I didn't think the competition was terrible, I thought I rode terrible :$ Kenny and his dad are going to hate me I did think the rocks were a bit "up and down, up and down" but its still good, I can't wait till next year! Vince is a beast, however Kenny was a bit sick, he told me he just couldn't concentrate. It was cool to see so many brits there though! Shows we take riding seriously.
  13. they have stopped being made......for now
  14. fair bit here, its the lightest, fluffiest snow ever! really nice

lighter than urbans, heavier than SLs. Maybe a good option if you want to save a little bit of weight, but don't want the full on weight of an Urban rim
  16. I would like it to be at brimham rocks, that place is aswesome!
  17. whoop, joint 5th on sunday! If I hadn't got that pucture, I would have beaten mr burton.
  18. I never managed to replace my bearings getting them out was next to impossible! I don't know how a small amount of play helps with power, but I found it very noticeable! Loads of people use vees, I used them for 3 years and won a world championship round with them on!
  19. was an almighty comp! The sections were a bit "get up this rock. get down rock, get up rock, get down rock" which is fine, but it kinda lacked lines and gaps....but hey! a comps a comp and it was better than most UK comps! Sunday was a wee bit easier, I still had many stupid mistakes though, but between the mistakes I felt like I was riding fairly decent. Not sure how many dabs I got, I am sure I heard I was 1 dab ahead of Andrei and Wes on the sunday, but I don't know for sure. Cant wait till the World cups!
  20. instead of death, what about chopping off body parts......you could even give them to amputees!!!! Two birds with one stone
  21. they are good, but not worth the extra cost. I found them to be quite wide, making setting up harder........the bearings get rougher which can make the brake pull one side more than the other..........they don't have any play which can actually reduce power...........all the bits (springs etc) are seperate items making them easy to loose. I say stick with SD7 arms or use new shimano lx or xt arms (non linkage ones)
