  1. lol, I like your blunt honesty!
  2. you couldn't pay me enough to ride a python! I think the best full bike is the new koxx sky bikes. Worst?? probably that strange mission 20" with zero bb rise
  3. do you run a booster? I have NEVER ridden anyones bike and found their back brake good if they didn't have a booster. Even a 2bolt booster makes the difference with a brakes hold. I have ridden peoples bikes that they said had the most amazing back brake ever, only for it to slip on a tap or something and make me fall off. Bite isn't important, but hold is.
  4. power is nothing without control! Leave the weights alone for now, they wont do ANYTHING to help you gain rear wheel control. The best thing you can do is practice. Ride as much as you can, the more you ride the better you will become. Going running is good though, that will help keep your legs springy and will help you ride for longer. How old are you BTW?
  5. How long have you been riding? 11 years Favourite or dream bike? Yaabaa 1499 Best place to ride? Blackstone Edge Preferred brake set up? Vee front and rear in the summer, maggie rear and vee front in the winter Preferred size, 20" or 26"? DEFINATELY 26" Favourite make or manufacturer? Koxx/Yaabaa How often do you ride? Most days Best or favorite trick/move? 360 front pivot Bigggest gap? 9ft static Biggest drop? 13ft Preferred ride(street, rocks, etc)? ROCKS!!! What do you most want to be able to do on your bike? Win important comps Helmet or not? ALWAYS hemet
  6. Still in cast, so I won't be making this one Can't wait to be healed and entering again though!

    What Pads?

plaz crm in TNN backing, they are amazing!
  8. any Orange with a folded downtube was made in the UK, they get some of the cheaper xc frames made in the east though. I kinda agree about the 04 pure idea, that was one of the best frames I have had!
  9. yeah, it would be nice to have a new frame, but like I said in my first post, this is just an idea. But I guess you don't get if you don't ask. Would people want the origional zero? (maybe they can strengthen the chainstay a bit too?)
  10. I HATE the look of the limey 26" frame (looks like a dead dolphin) BUT I really like the look of the Limey 20", it looks much better proportioned.
  11. cool, looks like its something that has demand then. I am planning on showing them this topic if it shows people want a new Zero. As for custom Geo, I very much doubt that will happen. Each Orange frame has a custom jig welded up to suit each size, these jigs cost thousands of pounds. so its much more likely just to be once size, be it comp, 24", street etc, that will be up to Steve and co at Orange to decide.
  12. I did after I misread him. :$ I would still only recommend them to light/comp riders
  13. I would advise you to stick with something a bit heavier if I were you, dropgaps to front are harsh on even the strongest forks.
  14. Hey guys I have not really thought this through much, so don't go getting all excited thinking there is a new frame coming out. Putting it simply, Orange bikes are made about 8 miles from my house and I noticed on Facebook they are looking to decide what models to make in the future. I know people loved the old zero and people still love them now. It would be great if they made an up-to-date model with the new technology Orange can use and modern design ideas from both the trials world, and Oranges current bikes. It would be great to have a British made frame available from one of the best manufacturers in the world What do you think? I am planning on getting in touch with them to see if they are interested, but it would be nice to have other peoples thoughts as well.
  15. looking very good biggie! Looks like your taps are coming along nicely! Smooth gaps as always too.
  16. looking at your lever its pretty bashed. You could try for a warranty, but I would think they would refuse due to the marks on the lever blade. You can't weld the lever either, its cast which is a big problem, plus they have a high magnesium content, so they would melt very easily.
  17. check the tensioner you are using isn't pushing the chain down too much resulting in not much contact between the chain and rear cog, you ideally want the chain be be using at least half the teeth on the rear cog.
  18. Really enjoyed that Ben! It reminded me of Rowens vids, funky music with cool lines. Its a winner in my books! PS, What do you mean not up to my standard?? You were kicking my ass at shipley glen last time we rode!
  19. another vote for Trialtechs, best forks out now.
  20. I have, I can't remember exactly where on the island I was, but there was a bit of street and some cool rocks to ride, you'll have to just explore and see what you can find, I bet there is some pretty good stuff.
  21. I tried this about 3 years ago, it works, but spits latex out when you rim out, and I am not prepared to run 30psi, I am normally on 19
  22. seems pretty good to me, that will give a great bike for the price! It won't be light, but it will be plenty strong and dependable.
  23. they did use bash plates
  24. yes everything was insured, so I got replacements for my stuff, it didn't replace my mums jewelery that was passed down from her late mother though.
