  1. lol, you never saw the testing the prototypes went through! Plus they were lighter than the current ones.....not one set snapped or returned yet! Can't be bad! If you hadn't guessed, I recommend Trialtechs!
  2. lol, opening up a whole new can. I don't mind the act of TGS, but its more the whole image of tight jeaned, straight haired, sometimes abusive riders and so on. PLEASE don't jump down my throat, I realize that most TGS riders are nice mild mannored people. It maybe unfortunate that from the videos I have seen and the rides I have been on with a few people (not naming anyone) that the TGS image comes across like that to some. I also realize that you get abusive people at comps, but they are caught up in the competition, not telling old people to "f**k off" because they were asked nicely to not ride on a wall next to the old persons car.

fair enough then! Its good to have you back anyway. I wouldn't mind getting to a falcon trial at some point, been years since I have entered one!
  4. I don't think TGS is shit (I do it often) but its just strange in my head that you would only want to ride TGS and not the rest of trials.
  5. I have really bad ones. They used to hurt a lot, especially riding and driving, but they are not so bad now. I saw a doctor about them and he advised surgury at some point, he said it would be around 6 weeks recovery time with each foot.

    Glueing Pads In

I normally pop a couple of drops in, whack it in a vice for 2 mins and jobs a good'un. having a bead blasted finish REALLY helps though.
  7. I think natural can be shit if you have shit natural, but if you can ride beast natural then is uuuuber fun! Kinda the same with street, but I still don't get the appeal of sidehopping the same wall over and over and over and ov...... My last local street ride was with Matt Smith and Little Sam. we rode for a couple of hours yet all I saw them do was just sidehops, just seems a bit weird they choose to do only 1% of what trials is.
  8. thats just nuts, how did he get so far ahead? I also bet tat this stuff is MUCH bigger than it looks in the vid!
  9. thanks for the offer guys, but there are no rocks near number 11, so I can't possibly take the job!

I just thought he might want the bike to ride nice, that's all
  11. its either a 205-2006 frame, Iolo rode one when he was 2006 British champ, I am pretty sure they were new when he rode it. The Forks DEFFO look like urbans to me, They are not any type of koxx forks
  12. oh my god, that sounds amazing! I'll bring my fullface helmet then
  13. not tried ANY pads as good as the pads I am using now! trying my own rubber in TNN backings. The 2nd best pads I have used is Plaz CRM in TNN backings
  14. I would say what I feel about TGS, but I had better not
  15. if you are struggling with the bb5 then there is something wrong with it, I consider them to be more powerful than a Hope, but with more maintenance and heavier.

    Practise Video

looks like you need to sort your back brake out and keep your weight forwards, but otherwise good stuff mate! Keep it up.
  18. 2006 I think Forks look like Echo Urbans, deffo not forks that come on Koxx bikes Your Magura is a 2005+ model I would say "nice bike" but I really think those frames are quite ugly, sorry they ride nicely though! I would upgrade those bars, they are possibly the worst feeling things I have ever held onto.
  19. I personally wouldn't ever run smaller than a 2.5 on the rear as long as the rim is wide enough to handle it. the extra grip, bounce and stability easily out weighs the extra weight. People usually run between 17-25psi in the rear. If you are bending rims, you need to sort your technique out or get better wheel builds. If you are still running narrow xc style rims, then you may need to have a harder pressure to stop the tyre from folding on slopes.
  20. one thing I found good for lever grips is some heatshrink tubing. Stretch it over the lever blade, heat it up and it will become a nice tight comfy fit.
  21. well, tha'ts down to the good geo rather than horizontal dropouts
  22. pretty much, but you can still use 135 hubs
  23. same as normal, just undo the bolt where the hose normally goes in, that works just the same as a bleed nipple.
  24. How many rounds count towards overall results and how many rounds will be used to pick riders for the UCIs? I am asking because I will still be in cast and not able to enter.
