  1. miiiight get someone to film, but the riding was pretty sketchy, the rear brake doesn't really hold my weight and I have SPDs fitted on the bike
  2. looking good guys! Matts really coming along on that zoo! Catch you soon!
  3. I know slinger snapped a pair, but he has a habbit of snapping everything lately Mine are about a year old now and I am still confident in them. Both myself and Stan had a prototype each which were lighter than the current bars. I went out of my way to do big drops and stressful moves but they both survived really well. The added meat to the production ones was just to make sure they were as strong as poss.
  4. cant remember how much stuff I have broken, its been plenty in the last 11 years I can tell you that! Worst crash? Hmm, had a few. I have a habbit of falling on my back (did it twice today off a 5ft shed!). I think the worse was at the 05 bike show, I managed to get myself up to one of the highest points only to mess up and miss my footing and fall 10ft onto my back on my bike. But there was also the time I fell off a 9ft section at Tech 04 when my trousers caught on my pedals, I fell onto my back on a curb. But there was also the time at Koxx days when I fell off a 15ft rock onto my back.
  5. I also would like to visit this mentioned quarry
  6. I disagree with the wear life being poor, if you have them set up perfect with just the right grind they last just as long as other pads. My CRV pads on my bike have worn about 1mm in the month and a bit I have had them on and stans CRM pads only wore about 2mm in 2 months. But yeah, the LGM pads are better in every way so replaced the CRM pads
  7. I can understand Sam's point that if you ride street then you don't need ultra light parts, dependable parts are higher on the list. Yes, riding a heavier bike will make you a better rider, BUT light weight bikes REALLY DO help at comps. A stem cap on its own might not make much difference, but its the whole weight savings across the bike that does it.
  8. not sure on the situation with Joe, but I do think all members of British cycling going to the same event should have the same treatment.
  9. again it depends what you like, you obviously don't take trials seriously and dont care about comps and stuff and that's fine, but some people do and that's why products like these are made.
  10. Kinda the same way I would rather eat my own feces than ride smooth rims with tar, its just down to what you like.
  11. So if every rider had an air sprung bike we would all ride to the same skill level? A bit like we are all riding rigid bikes so we all ride those the same too? I fail to see your logic!

    Another Bmx Vid

could watch him ride all day!
  13. seats will make a come-back, ohhh yes, they'll be back! Possibly some lightweight suspension system for higher hops Tubeless tyres more frame with Vee mounts (well, we can only hope!) More carbon thats what I think anyway.
  14. Jardo, do those aisles fit in with health and safety guidelines of minimum width? Does anyone else find that bike firms (or component firms especially) don't care how they pack their parts? They just seem to find a box and chuck all the parts in and don't care if they get scratched or not. I know that when I pack parts, I usually individually bubble wrap most parts and stuff the box so no parts can move.

    Danny Foster?

wow, he is pretty good actually. Are there any TGS riders who ARN"T into screamo music, dyed hair and tightish jeans? Not slagging him off for it, but it seems to be a theme going on.
  20. Trialtech I have one, but I am sponsored by them so people may think that my opinion that they are the best two bolt boosters might be a bit biast
  21. Disagree with the BMXer part, but Danny is up there with my faves!
  22. The earliest I could get there would be about 7pm due to work so I dont think I'll be coming
