    Tgs 24?

hmm, I don't really see the point. It doesn't have the advantages of a mod and it doesn't have the advantages of stock.
  2. got to say that is one lovely bike! I like the bmx looks, the colours are nice too! Good choice on Spank rims too, they are sooooo good! Just built up some for my new bike
  3. hmm, I always feel 4 weeks is a good point to decide wether a frame is good, one ride seems a bit short. I prefer the looks of Sky (by miles!), but I prefer the price of the Kortz. either way I don't think I'll be getting either any time soon
  4. yeah, if the front end is going too high, then you need to bend your legs, the faster you do it the faster the front drops. Bend them like your trying to sit on the bb. I have still never had a manual dream
  5. I was there! Was nice of them to mention me too , I wonder if they got my gap to downtube on film? I know they got meek going over the bars on my inspired in the background of Kenny's interview! That was funny!
  6. I just cant get on with 24" wheels, but part of that reason id I have been used to 26" for 12 years now, I am sensetive to where wheels sit, how they spin and hop, the smaller wheels just react totally different to what I am used to. If he has no previous experience, then he can choose either. 24" is more bmxy and there are more frame choices. I recommend he tries one first though. Stan rides a 24 and he is over 6ft, so I don't think that will be a problem.

you see, what we need is a street bike with a seat AND 26" wheels
  8. well, seeing as maguras have about the same holding power as a new born baby, then yes.
  9. I know what you mean by moves being over used, danny was the inventor so to speak (I know its been around a while before anyone moans) nd now everyone wants to do them, the difficult thing is to use then in new and improved ways.
  10. TNN LGM pads are the best pads I have used in the wet!
  11. in bmx terms, he is doing it differently. The "correct" way would be to step over the toptube with your forward foot and spin the frame using the back foot. I am finding it harder to get the initial spin, but its easier to land.
  12. I would never have a rear disc on a stock, the spokes flex farr too much and I am not that impressed with the hold even with a 200mm rotor, plus the fact I would destroy the disc on my first ride would also be a downer. On a mod however, I would run a rear disc no question. The smaller wheels means there's no spoke flex and the brake holds like a beast! The smaller rotor is also harder to hit....its just generally good!
  13. dam, I was saving those dacade things for my next vid Good rider, not quite as acomplished as danny mac, but the filming and editing was sweet too. (PS, why does everyone footjam whip the wrong way?)

I like the colours, but the wheels are still too small
  15. I think it has character, I rode it recently and it was pretty sweet! Good for bunnys and manuals
  16. That was ACE, a really good vid of the week. I really enjoyed the week, I completely forgot my crank fell off lol, the bands were ace, the people were ace, more people need to go next year!
  17. narr, a booster stops the actual pivot posts flexing out thus making the holding power a million times better
  18. I got my first car when I was 21, it was a daihatsu hijet (small van shaped like a loaf of bread). it was only 1000cc, but I could fit 2 people and two bikes and stll sleep in it with the seats folded flat. shame the engine went after 6 days
