  1. not much else to say as most people have covered it. I think a lot of people don't like vees when they have tried them is because they are comparing them directly with a magura. To clear some things up..... A Vee is not a magura, it acts differently a vee has more modulation and not as much bite as a maggie a vee has LOTS more hold than a maggie a vee is more powerful a vee has more adjustment a vee is heavier with adaptor and booster, but lighter on a vee specific frame than a maggie a booster improves the hold of a vee 10 fold
  2. just saying that if thomas has one, then hopefully they will exist soon! I know I'll have one if they become available!
  3. I am a trialtech foam grip lover, not too soft, not too hard, don't rip, don't hurt my hands, don't get slippery....WIN!
  4. 26" inspired you say...how nice!
  5. mechanically it will work, but with MUCH* less power *meaning such bad power an anchor may be a better option
  6. nope, thats all true. but a 26" inspired? IF ONLY!
  7. my dislike for RATM cannot be put down in words! I vote for this to be number one! Youtube Video -> Original Video Sung by non other than Leonard Nimoy!
  8. yeah, I know what you mean, I am after the same thing, I don't get on with 24" wheels.
  9. seen worse, they look nicer than the first proto pictures that were out. Still prefer frames with a ore traditional look though (with a seat as well lol)

I think its pretty much identical, but the alloy bolts/cups make the echo lighter.
  11. 17psi with a conti rain king (normally 20psi with maxxis) 40 psi on my Inspired
  12. I tried it a while ago and my headset would come loose withing a few mins riding.
  13. I've got a ti BB spindle in my BMX - ti isn't just a lightweight compy thing... This was OBM, btw.
  14. when we talked on the phone dave, you said it had been used with a spacer. Obviously we never saw it with the crank on so all we have to go on when looking at it is its condition and what the customer says. we then pass this info onto the manufacturer who go to make a decision. If it wasn't used with spacers then apologies, but I understand you took it up with reset yourself? what did they say?
  15. he told me he had used them, plus I think they were in the box when it arrived. He said that they were supplied with his cranks and thought he had to use them, even though cranks don't come with these spacers . Perhaps he had an old bb with the spacers before the reset one and while it was being removed the spacers were left in the tool and transferred over? It almost happened to me once.
  16. I think part of the problem was that where the cranks ended up sitting was exactly where the internal threads ended meaning all the stress of the rider was going straight into the most stressed point. If the crank was further onto the axel, it would have gone past that point and there wouldn't have been a problem.
  17. the spacers are about 3mm each, I am not sure about the tightness, you would need to ask Dave.
  18. Dave, yours snapped because you had used some other spacers on the axel (same as the axel stops on trialtech and echo bbs). This made your cranks sit further out and increased the stress on the axel.
  19. used to take them for years, no longer need them
