  1. he is still recovering from his broken collor bone, it seems the event organizers jumped the gun a bit when danny showed interest. I don't know for sure if he is going or not, but he said to me that he wouldn't if he wasn't 100% recovered yet.
  2. cool, I am going as long as the weather isn't pissing it down. I will be on my brakeless bike, will be interesting!
  3. I want to go, a sheff ride would be cool too!
  4. might be tempted........Matt..Sam, want a lift if I go?
  5. well, maybe I wasn't being quite honest My comp bike weighs around 10kg, thats with some super light parts (ti bb, pedals axles trialtech sl rims ect) but also some heavier stuff too (rain king rear tyre, 200mm rotor, vee brake with adaptor and booster). However, my street bike weighs 11.5kg with no light weight parts and a saddle, but I have now taken the brakes off and fitted some lighter tyres and its now around 10.3kg. Stick with the heavier weight for now, but if you do comps next year, you could put some lighter parts on before them.
  6. pretty much, but if you keep the lever vertical and don't lose any fluid, you won't need to bleed. (if some fluid does come out, just drip some from the cut piece of hose back in)

    Games Console

never been a fan of xbox, I have a ps3 and its great...well it was until it broke last week lol
  8. I think you can, but take a look on the lever, it will tell you what you must use
  9. are you running a disc? if so then choose any 26" fork you want. straight and curved forks makes no difference, but I prefer the looks of curved forks.
  10. not opened any gifts yet, no idea what I am getting, not asked for anything in particular.

    Trialtech Fork

does the headset wobble? Trialtech leave a small radius there as a sharp corner makes a stress riser. DON"T get the fork crown faced. The crown may seat lower with a little force, but first check the usual things...the steerer is the right length, the top cap (if using different one) doesn't bottom out on the steerer ect, these things would stop the echo crown from seating correctly.
  12. I havnt asked for anything. There's not really anything I am after. Sister and bro-in-law are coming around later, will open prezzies then.
  13. YO! Sounds like you are having a pretty amazing time! Those frames look pretty awesome! I am also pretty envious of what you have done, but I guess you had the guts to actually go ahead and do it! I will have enough money to come and see you soon, would you be up for some company? Got a spare bed in your van?
  14. That stem should be a lot stronger than a kamel stem as its once piece forged rather than welded tubes. I think that bar and stem combo is amazing! I don't quite understand why people arn't liking the bars....they look very simular to monty bars to me. I think I'll get a pair for my next bike.
  15. epic hops! Very nice! Place looks amazing to ride too!
  16. glad to see people are coming around to my thinking! Glad you like it, but a booster will make the holding power truly epic!
  17. I still enjoy it as much as ever too! I think its because I try things that come into my head when riding rather than just sidehops or gaps. Mixing things up is the key!
  18. Its one of my fave places ever! Won't be going though, will not be going though, will be too snowy I recken
  19. I am 25, started when I was 14, pretty much always ridden stock. Also dabbled in xc, bmx, dh
  20. as I keep saying...what advantages will it have? wont tap as well as 26", won't bunnyhop as well as 20" Jack of all trades, master of non.

    Snow

plenty of snow at my house, I live up a slope from the road and its impossible to get to my house that way, I have to make a detour and go another way. on another note...drifting is fuuuun!
  22. I am also sat there for maybe....2 mins? If you are there long enough to read, why not just go when you are ready?
  23. the usual methods seem to work for me...spray paint, hair spray ect how old are your grips? some of the old ones were fractionally oversized and were a bit of a bitch to stick.
