  1. remember to keep your weight forward. Once you get your weight over the front, get it FURTHER over the front! the more weight you get over the front wheel when you land, the less you have to do in the 2nd part With proper technique, you don't need to use brakes to hook.
  2. I would send back: Trialtech forks, no more worries about strength. Wide rims Conti Rain King tyres
  3. looks like brakeless is catching on then, deffo a good rider, some pretty tech stuff there!
  4. cheeky.... What if you made all the sections uphill? Or I could put brakes on, but put my levers on the seattube? What if it was like when cars first came out on the streets and someone had to walk infront with a flag? I could do the same
  5. what if I put some maguras on with some black pads and special washing up liquid/grease combo to go on the rims?
  6. watching while resting my head Gav's a pedo

  10. yet to do so even without using a vice.
  11. a stanley knife with new blade and a bit of water for lube works the best I have found (and I have cut a LOT of material). It goes through like butter.
  12. 1090g if I remember right, and no, they are different to the control forks
  13. Can't make it as I'll be reet up at the tip of Scotland which is a shame as I have been wanted to get to barrow farm for a while
  14. actually really enjoyed that, looked like a really fun trip with really good riders, I would like to see the full version
  15. lol, I forgot how annoying brake noises are! Big riding though
  16. Of course he is a trials rider! Despite some bmxy moves he is most definately doing trialsy stuff. I can't understand how people think its not trials?
  17. lol cheers for the comments, I am not bitter about the decision, plus they can't make exceptions. Would be cool to see a brakeless trial though, no brakes allowed!
  18. Out of interest, if the origional event had taken place and I had turned up brakeless, what would have happened? I thought there may be some issues with me riding brakeless which is why I didn't mention it in the hope that a decision would be made there and then without a month to talk it over. no doubt you could have said no then, but perhaps I had a fleeting chance.
