wow, I could have not done with seeing that picture lol
  2. cant wait to see this! It may make me depressed though ha!
  3. Phatpads were the same as the pads I used to sell, but I believe Mike may have changed them slightly now. TNN asked me to send them some of my material, I don't know for sure if it's the same, no doubt different places don't make the compound exactly the same. either way, my pads which were the same as Mikes (old?) pads had VERY good bite, but not grat hold (which is why I liked it in my vee as it has the opposite effects). The TNN pads (Which I havn't used) appear to have more hold and less bite than my pads, so who knows if it's the same.

    What Rear Tyre?

one way to think about it is that the rubber lasts longer than most over soft compound tyres like maxxis and try-all. so you won't have to buy a new one for a long time. If they catch the booster, get mr file or grinder out, it's sooooo worth it, I simply WON'T run any other tyre for trialsy riding.

    What Rear Tyre?

I would consider you mad if you didn't go for a trials queen or de kaiser. They will laugh at the grip of your rubber queen and put up to more abuse.
  7. rained enough here to make the river level rise by 9ft and flood the main road making the police close it. Bloody rain.

    Rear Brake

yeah, maggies tend to grip better forwards than backwards, That pad material is also great for bite, but bad for hold (I spent ages looking for and testing loads of compounds before I found that material, so I have a lot of time with it). I found the best pads for hold were the koxx blox browns and TNN LGM and Bealay pads. a booster will also help, but could reduce bite
  9. you have a good eye
  10. boo, I didn't notice yours I thought I was being original and witty. But yeah, it went straight over their heads like a 747.
  11. no seen him on here since then, I have forgotten his address, I was half tempted to order a big skip to be delivered to his house or something along those lines.
  12. LOVE the laugh at exactly 3mins. Oh, Benito is good too!
  13. as you said, it was a little shit, the riding was no means big or smooth or stylish and you were definitely riding sketchy and it was the worst vid I have seen from you!* * I may have got my facts the wrong way round

those frames are possibly my fave ever stock frame, they just ride sooo well! That's a nice looking build too, I would ride that* *if I still rode long bikes
  16. I wanted more! good riding as always buddy, thinking outside the box on a few moves there. bet you felt macho in that vest too.
  17. lol, they will last with front hops, not a problem! I got a Trialtech booster to fit with very slight modification (ie, filed the slots a little narrower)
  18. I actually found a singewall rim lasted longer to my harsh riding than a double wall rim, probably because it can flex and bend and then return to shape rather than being stiffer and staying in whatever shape it gets bent to. Also I wouldn't worry about eylets, I havn't owned an eyletted rim for around 5 years and I have never had a spoke pull through or any other problems.
  19. you always were slow Mark
  20. that would be the Echo TR then.
