    2012 Inspired Range

I agree they wouldn't be my first choice either, but you have to consider that these bikes are to appeal to normal MTBers, they tend to hate cable brakes. Also if someone is looking for a bike, the fact it has hydraulic discs at all would be a big bonus, street riders don't always want the most powerful brakes either.

    2012 Inspired Range

it'c cheaper to use the older frame parts to make it, so it's cheaper for the public to buy.
  3. Mike's right, you could get some thinner pads like TNN LGVs, they have thin backings with a built in conical washer so the whole system can be a few mil less wide. You could also try some thinner arms like Shimano LX or XT arms.

    Danny Mac

haha, believe me, he drinks a lot worse stuff than that! He is Scottish after all.
  5. yeah he does, and he wanted to go longer and lower, which is why Inspired were scared when I wanted the exact opposite lol. Longer and lower makes it more stable for going in a straight line, I wanted it to be more modern and to handle bmx style riding better, something that is more nervous and twitchy. 380mm would be nice, but there has to be a comprimise somewhere

this is going to take soooome beating, I feel sorry for the people to post vids after this.... ...wait..
  7. coll stuff, some nice control there. Bit of a bash at the end though lol
  8. Out of interest, why the longer stays? I can't think of any benefit.
  9. his rear wheel control had me worried at times, but there was definitely some top moves in there, I hope he keeps it up. Also, it is now my ambition to go to that place, where is it?
  10. lol, it was more a case of me pointing out there is more than one rider called Watson, Sean is the first person I think of when I hear that name, that's all.
  11. a short 70-80-90mm stem with steep (30degree) ride coupled with some high rise Trialtech or Inspired bars is pretty dam sweet!
  12. a very good brakeless street rider from Canada who rides for Inspired
  13. ok ok, Mods are cool for kids, I give them that.
  14. I voted 26" for everything....Mods should be burned!
  15. it wasn't much different, 390 back end and +10 bb. I wanted it faster and flickier, so we made it shorter and higher.

    Tgs

yeah, we have all been guilty of TGSness, I enjoyed it back then, but I always was on the lookout for the unusual stuff too. I don't hate TGS in its self, it's kind of frustrating seeing people limit themselves to that type of riding when there is so much more out there. it's like riding with blinkers on.

    Tgs

interesting fact number 1: Myself and Iolo came up with the "TGS" acronym on a ride in Sheffield in around 2004, seems it stuck. aww, kind words Mark, you will be rewarded at a later date.
