  1. the phases are fine, you will probably need to replaces the rear wheel and maybe convert it to single speed depending on your preference, but the frame is fine (even if it doesnt have a seat ha!)
  2. no you cant turn your wheel round, you would be riding everywhere backwards then, plus your pedals would unscrew like I said earlier. Marinos are more that £270 I believe.
  3. would be a pain, but profile do left hand drive hubs, stick one of their disc hubshells on and bing, disc ready left hand drive. could get it in 10mm or 14mm axle too (though if it was a custom frame you could get it made for 14mm)
  4. it would be possible You would need to use a bmx hub with left hand drive and some bmx cranks to match (otherwise your pedals would unscrew as you ride) The disc would work too, you would have to mount it under the seatstay for it to be the correct way round. More effort than it's worth really, and I am not really sure why you would get a custom frame with geo of frames that you can buy in shops?
  5. apologies, may have come across harsher than I actually meant
  6. that IS my cat! well, my cat minus 21 years......cuuuute
  7. well, not in the description of every tyre. Looks like quotes from Contis site rather than a "true" description (Tarty's actual measured durometer and more accurate description comes to mind). But I guess it is a lot of work to do that.
  8. for that price, a slightly oldschool second hand bike would give you a better bike than a "300 new bike. Unless the bike has been totally ragged, you should spend less time fixing things than you would with such a cheap new bike. something like this Sure it's not a modern bike with fancy new futuristc geometry or frame design, but those frames do ride well, especially coming from a mtb background. I am also a firm believer on riding a short bike if you are new to the sport, it will actually teach you to "ride" rather than hop about all over the place which most modern bikes are best at. Some people with say get a 20", but I would only agree if you were from a bmx background or really small/young. Otherwise stick with big wheels and get learing to ride over stuff and have fun!
  9. claiming them all to be the "black chili compound" is a bit misleading (even is that's what Conti directly call them) as there are key differences between the Rain King and Rubber Queen compounds for example.
  10. no, it lives with my parents, but they are only an hour away and I do like to go visit.
  11. oh but I have, I spent two weeks in the french alps years ago, was amazingly fun! I am all about the fun in riding, I don't want to think about life and issues, riding is to get away from that.
  12. looks nice good to see an unusual colour too. I bet it has a low bb and slack head angle though
  13. it's not like you can even hug or cuddle fish either
  14. All crap films as well in my eyes. Bring back Sprung and Earthed, they were and still are the best.
  15. bought it the other day. the actual film quality is great, but other than that it's rather boring, if it wasn't for the film quality it wouldn't actually have anything good about it at all.
  16. those pads are pretty turd for any decent trials stuff, get some trial specific pads like the TNN pads, a booster will help loads with the holding power too.
  17. mostly polyurethane, there are a couple of exceptions though
  18. M6 fittings for braided hose, M5 fittings for Kevlar
  19. well, it's not quite M6, it's a specific size to the kit.
  20. try doing some sidehops without covering the front brake, that was how I learned to do them to two wheels as you can't rely on pivoting on the front.
  21. I really like Tinypic, again you don't need an account and it also gives you direct links.
  22. go to an image hosting site like Tiny Pic and upload your pics there, then copy and paste it over into your post.
