  1. a steeper head angle will make the reach longer yes, but the point is that you use a shorter stem to keep your hands in the same place. You then have the benefit of better front wheel moves, x-ups, tailwhips, barspins etc.
  2. if the wheel looks straight in the frame and the chain is tight then leave it. what you need to do is loosen the two vertical bolts so the caliper can move about, spin the wheel fast and bring it to a stop using the brake (slowish stop), this will center the caliper on the rotor, with the lever still held in, tighten the two vertical bolts again. Hopefully the caliper is now straight to with the rotor, if not, loosen one bolt at a time and adjust by eye. If it still rubs, use the adjustment dial to be as close to the rotor as possible without rubbing then back off the cable tension adjusters until the desired lever pull is achieved.
  3. personally I would lengthen the seat tube a tad and maybe make it slightly steeper. I have never had any issues with my seat getting in the way. Other than that it looks pretty sweet, almost the same as the hex but with slightly shorter stays(a good thing). I could be tempted by a slightly steeper head angle though and use a slightly shorter stem.
  4. Fave mod rider? Quite possibly. It's not TGS, its not comp style, you are doing you're own thing and I approve.
  5. I am using maxxis holy rollers and run around 50psi, may try harder as I still rim out when hitting stair bumps.
  6. looking good Gary, I am a fan of those frames!
  7. not sure if I ever rode one of those.
  8. really really really don't like Ice frames, I think they are ugly and are the 2nd worse mod I have ridden (after the older pythons). I am really struggling to suggest any mods I like the feel of, I guess the closest is a Fans.
  9. just messing. I should also compliment the pretty ridiculous riding going on! so here it is.....that was some impressive riding!
  10. always nice to see someone riding street and he has some skills. I am a little critical on some things though, I actually thought he had f**ked up when he did the 3s down things, only when he had landed did I realise it was on purpose. I am really not a fan of english bunnyhop 3s (flat spin (both wheels leaving at once) for those who don't know what an english hop is). to be fair I wouldn't dare 3 down those things, but it would look so much better if it was an actual hop into them. After Danny doing a flair off a tree, I would never put a flip of any kind off a tree in my video (even if it was a sweet one like his). I saw some bitch cranks and some pretty heavy braking in some of the manuals, is it really that hard to try again without them? Apart from a few other hops the rest was pretty good, some nice lines, I liked the manual through the water and stuff. I may sound a little harsh, but I am pretty critical of my own riding and I would love to see him ride some of the stuff with a bit more style as he would be a total monster then!
  11. don't need a back brake to do backwards manuals
  12. yeah, learn them now and you'll be laughing later.
  13. yeah, a higher bb and shorter back end works wonders for spins!
  14. getting in a warm building/car/shower after being cold. Summer dayz when it's warm and smells summery. Landing a move on a bike after being scared of it. going to sleep when really tired. new bike feeling.
  15. euro style flat hop spins are a killer for most trials riders, it works (and looks) soo much better to do a proper hop into spins.
  16. I think I saw Giaco smile, but it may have been a spasm
  17. that would be one of the frames that had a separate tube that would attach to the funky shaped top tube and have a seat at the other end. It was a primitive version on suspension (or at least suspension seatposts).
  18. sorry I meant I already have two weeks in Ireland on the cards, just not got the dates sorted yet. I am tempted, even more so if the weather is looking bad.
  19. still don't know about this, will the ramps still be usable? how big is the place (as in will it be crowded?)? Got some filming work next month so that might be an issue too.
  20. I used to go to the gym and had my own weights, but I mainly used them for recovery after injury. I didn't really enjoy the gym, not my idea of a fun time plus being too big can hold back your riding.

yeah, and my hatred for the thing can't be measured. Simply the worst braking system ever, but unfortunately the only one that I would choose to use for my wheel size and riding style
  22. I cant really see what more you could want in life than to be alive and have nothing "wrong". Maybe if I was an orphan with Aids in the middle of some war in Africa I would give a (much) lower score

    probably because magura suck dick
  24. I have used both and didn't notice any difference in how clean my teeth felt, what I did notice was the electric one didn't have a flexy neck of any type so could hurt gums easier, it also vibrated my nose and made it itch but that may just be my big beak.
  25. not sure how it can't be 10/10, I am alive (always a great start), don't live in a country decimated by war, all my limbs and senses work, I can see beautiful things and hear beautiful sounds, I have freedom and a huge amount of fun being alive. so yeah, 10/10 for me.
