I spent many a happy time at the pleasure beach when I was a wee nipper so stop spoiling my fond memories! I especially liked "Noah's Ark" and the "Avalanche". I must say that the Grand National is scary just because you are perched on a wooden horse going quite fast with only a small seatbelt to keep you from falling off.
iolo and myself used to raid supermarket bins. Found loads of good food, one time though we did get caught by the police but we didnt take anything off the supermarket property that time so we couldn't get done for theft, but we did get a warning for tresspassing and advice from the officers saying if we do it again, its best to wait till later when there are fewer people about haha
TF was definitely a lesser place once you moved on. Or were moved on, I should say.
This is Mark on Ali's account, just to help that all make sense a little more...
I do like your work and this is no exception! I do have one question though, are you welding the alloy parts before fitting the carbon? If not, how will you protect the carbon from the heat?
Looking forward to seeing it finished!
it's just the axle that's damaged don't think I've seen a King hub that hasn't done that. You can still run it fine, but just make sure the split doesn't carry on down to the bearing race.
from my experience, you were probably right in the original post you are now apologising for. Never had a good experience dealing with them, they seem to offer bad advice and talk down to other shops (Ride-On in Lancs is amazing however).
Don't think I have slagged Neon off much? I just think these frames are ugly as hell. The "hump" is the killer, plus I don't really like curved tubes in frames, and these ones don't even match or flow neatly.
To be fair they're usually fairly sound about it if it is a problem. If you're smashing a thin-tubed, lightweight comp frame into walls and rails all day then try and warranty it you're obviously going to get denied, but for actual warranty cases they're usually alright. For genuine issues they've usually been cool with us for everything.
They've said that comp use and 'proper' riding is fine, but if you break them by scratching them/gouging them loads I'd imagine they're not going to be that interested.
really?
I have thought of some machines, a lot of them involve being in space and/or water, but that darn grouch called frictions still seems to want to ruin the party!
I had a Hifi, worst frame I have ever owned. I like the Pure, but I like the fact its so simple, straight tubes, minimal cnced stuff, great tensioners, but I don't like the geo, bb is still too high.
never had a problem with mine.
try just turning the bars independent of the forks, you can actually tighten the headset with those topcaps without using an allen key on the topcap itself.
