  1. At one point on my proto Limey 3 ( gold one) I got it to about 400mm rear end. That was nice on the backwheel!
  2. It is quite worrying that my bike's +50mm is now considered a low bb....... I had a k-sas in 2007, that was +40 which I thought was a really extreme bb hight ( I then went to +10 then +30 - which i think was fairly 'neutral')
  3. I haven't really 'Broken' anything in a while really, aside from chains and getting a few punctures. Most of the things I've had to change over the last 18-24 months have just been through age and wear n tear. 2012-2013 1 set of trialtech forks which I changed after 18 months due to cracks appearing ( could have gotten away with using them for a bit longer) 1 Genesis frame cracked after 12 months 1 Hub, which i stripped due to using a rear sprocket that wasn't really up to trials 1 crank, again which I stripped, after I was rushing building my bike when i was in sweden, I was standing on the pedal as i tightened it up after a quick ride around (Doh!) 2 rear axles. From a new brand, first batch they made, bit of a dodgy batch again
  4. Inpulse R26 - 1090 +50 Onza Genesis - 1085 +55 I've used both of these frames over the last 2 years, currently on my second Inpulse at the moment. Both fit the geo you are looking for, can highly recommend either of these frames. Aside from these 2, heard great things about the Echo, however not used one of these so cant give me personal opinion on one.
  5. Dani skipped riders in the que Ben put a protest in, jury agreed, they penalised dani 10 points It had no affect on bens score or position in the competition at all Dani got away with much more in Czech That's the end of that. This is about congratulating our riders who rode well, not about anything else
  6. No it's not. It's the sam Oliver who is very quite yet very epic on a trials bike!
  7. The Biketrial world championships are over and done with for another year, This year there were 2 rounds both very different. Round 1 In Igualada, Spain was all man made in the city, while round 2 In Blansko,Czech republic was in the forest. For such a small team we done well! We had 9 riders and picked up 4 overall medals! As a nation the UK finished 6th Overall,1 point away from 4th Benjamin class (10-12 years old) Charlie Rolls - WORLD CHAMPION! (2nd &1st) Adam Morewood -3rd Overall (3rd&3rd) Minime class (13-15 years old) Sam Rolls - 13th Overall (18th & 9th) Junior class (16-18 years old) Aaron Duke - 20th Overall Senior class (18+) Sam Oliver - 3rd Overall ( 4th & 2nd) Andrei Burton - 9th Overall (5th & DNE) James Sheridan - 18th Overall (13th & RET) Elite class ( Seeded riders only) Ben Savage - 3rd Overall (3rd & 4th) Scott Wilson - 12th Overall (11th & 11th)
  8. Unedited footage I found from the European championship this weekend in Switzerland. 20" & 26" Finals (8 man final before the super final's) Pretty tough.........
  9. Big fan of Guillaume, great rider and loved that vid! Some massive stuff in there made to look way too easy! Saw it earlier and have watched it a few times already this evening, nice edit!
  10. Just thought I'd post this up to inform everyone and to congratulate Adam Morewood on winning the 2nd round of the european cup ( well he didnt just win, he dominated!) and becoming the 2013 European cup champion! Well done Adam!!!!!

  13. Well done team morewood! Saw the scores for Benjamin, eeeeeeeasy win I think It was a given Vasha would win, bet hedge was not a happy chappy! Got full elite results / top 3?
  14. I posted up a picture on my genesis when I first got it, Its coming up to a year ish old now (good going) so thought I would stick some pictures up of it in its current incarnation. Got lots of shiny new things for it and fitted them today, so seemed like a good time to do it. 15. Really tough day! Big moves, long sections and the first bit of heat we've had this year made sure you had to work hard! (+ all the left hand sidehops which I'm rubbish at!) Was a good day though, nice sections, didn't ride too great really, should have knocked a fair chunk off my score but enjoyed the day
  16. Yeah both are reverse mounts. I'm currently running - TRP lever Onza 4 bolt to vee Adapters Avid SD7 Arms Heatsink blue pads Cant remember what Noodle, but 90 degree works best Good bite and good modulation most of the time, works well on a rough grind and a worn one. Only time i feel it 'lets me down' (more than a magura I would say) is when the grind is completely dead or it rains.
  17. I've been running a vee on the front for just over a year now, first on trialtech forks and now on the new onza genesis ones and they both worked great. Once you get your set up right, vee's are awesome!
  18. These boys would never have survived an Essex Club trial at Thiftwood back in the day!
  19. Yeaaaaah Patt Patt! Riding really good at the moment and that is an epic place to ride! must pop over again soon to give it a proper try. Very lucky to have that spot near you......even if it is in Germany Hardcore with the snow too!
  20. Been using a genesis frame since last June, it's been used for street, natural, shows,UCI world cups and has been spot on. No hint of damage or any weakness shown. The geo is spot on for me, I feel really compy on it. I find its a good all rounder, can handle big gaps, taps and side hops well but still feels nice and 'flicky' good on tech stuff. So yeah can fault mine really. Had a set of genesis forks for a month, so far so good!
  21. You make it too easy james The old boys still got a bit left in him I know, should do alright this year Giddyup Benito!!
  22. He is on form, Abel is just better He fits that Ozonys really well, riding great at the moment. Hopefully he can go 1 better than last year and do the treble! World cup, European championship and world championship!
