  1. bit of a statement isnt it?? yeah, it might be the last UCI trial, but i definitely wouldn't say the last GOOD trial, unless you count the very well attended tyke trials as GREAT...
  2. Haha! loving that last pic! Neil - "who the hell put me on this thing!?!?!"
  3. personally i think its something that only the best riders should do, as your going to lose your warrenty by doing it and what difference is it going to make? Maybe 1 or 2mm by applying newton's second law, surely its better to improve your technique to gain height, not hack your bike to bits?! Andrew
  4. i thought Bernie Ecclestone's comments in the pre-race interview with Martin Brundle were amusing, simply stating that the track conditions will be the same for every driver and that drivers hit the wall anyway and that the breaking up of the track would not make any difference. You probably had to hear the interview to find it funny.
  5. it may have come across as a bit arrogant, but then he's the best driver round that track by far, no one else seems to be able to match him on precision tracks that are surrounded by concrete walls.
  6. The worst bit is that Lewis recieves a 10 place grid penalty at Magny Cours yet Raikonnen got away with what happened at Monaco to with Sutil! Thats not on! Typical Ferrari mafia behind it.
  7. i think your best off talking to a dealer, give Chris or Barbara @ Cleanbikes a ring Andrew
  8. nice pictures, but was anyone else riding the trial?
  9. how come clicking on the ONZA blog button takes you to this thread? Your blog is your site being criticised by a load of trials riders!
  10. Hmm, the UK BIU championship seems so organised these days....
  11. Dont mean to be a stick in the mud, but a direct link to your site in a post, come on! Less of the advertising....
  12. couldnt that be a manufacturing fault then? Might just be a particular batch that all have the same problem...
  13. all the people i know that own them are tiny lightweight minions, apart from Chris Walker, and his is doing fine!
  14. if you make yourself a template out of plastic of the hole you want, you'll be able to draw round it and get each one the same as the last. Not something ive done, but it sounds logical. Andrew
  15. Seems more fair to have a second northern venue anyway, I may actually be able to get to this one.
  16. It might just be my eyes (although my vision is pretty much as good as human eyes can be), its difficult for me to read the small white writing on a black background. Then when i return to reading writing on a light background, it makes that more difficult.
  17. it may be just over half the weight of steel, but it certainly isnt as strong! just has a higher strength per unit mass.
  18. cool, good job, might have to make me some of them, but they might be out of aluminium so they could be drilled out fairly thin. Definitely not as wide as yours though!! Andrew
  19. sweet vid. really good mix of styles! how long u had that helmet?
  20. couple of questions.... how far into the bar does the insert extend (crucial for strength and stiffness without being too heavy)? Are they drilled out through the middle? and if so, what diameter hole (obviously it is closed at one end as your bar plug)? How heavy are they in total? cheers, Andrew
  21. but who in their right mind will???
