  1. Used to be able to do that on my Leeson 20"!
  2. Smoe sweet pictures there, the sections look pretty grand. Haha, the 4th pic down just doesn't look right! theres some distortion going on there!
  3. are they making a dual disk version? would be spot on with that fixed rear wheel and tensioner setup!
  4. stunt bikers! i would go mental at that, way to promote the sport! But good luck lads, hope you get what you need.
  5. used to have a mono trial, try-all version, worked amazing, brilliant modulation and unrivaled power. Will be getting another one with my new bike.
  6. better than yours
  7. no, basically if you want a smaller front cog then ur gonna have to buy new cranks and go the screw on way. Cleanbikes do a pair of monty 205pr cranks for £34, you'll also need to take off the freewheel on the rear wheel, this can be put on the front, then u'll need a 12 or 13 toothed screw on cog at the back. Andrew Edit: just realised onza do 20T and 22T chainrings that will fit, they should be fine to lower the ratio a bit
  8. Get a proper bike Ads!

good job i don't get it, i live on a farm! everyone else should stop being such a jessie about it
  10. unfortunately i can't make it as uni doesnt finish for another week , should have arranged it to be a week later really gutted as its always such a good weekend! Andrew
  11. Ben has a good point, and surely your not going to be able to cover the whole country without employing a couple of other reporters at different locations around the country. Also, i would love a hard paper magazine as opposed to a pdf online jobbie, something to read before bedtime and show to friends and family, its just so much more desirable reading a hard copy of a magazine than something on the internet. Andrew
  12. but isn't that absolutely miles for you to travel?
  13. haha, your into lancashire, its no southern venue! There is mud if its particularly wet, otherwise its grippy quarry rock, check out the Vincent UK ride pics from rochdale. Andrew
  14. it looks like you've taken those super magnets off ur chain lol
  15. i was gonna get trialtech ones, but they Dave doesnt do them in 165, hence why i went for the try-alls
  16. LMAO! you've got too much time on ur hands! fair enough, i take your point. You'll just have to wait until u see my new bike when it comes Andrew
  17. ...providing your legs are strong enough, but then the same applies to your gear ratio. And MrKoxx, fair enough, but i'd trust theses cranks so much more than the Monty ones that i had before, they're a lot beefier, you must just be a basher
  18. would probably get there ....if i had a bike
  19. well u must have been running pretty heavy tyres. Theres nothing wrong with uprating the components on ur bike, but this thread is about cutting holes in things and invalidationg your warrenty (and ultimately putting your health at risk) to make 2mm height difference and so on. People haven't been doing it for that long, so im waiting for the time when fatigued components break due to pointless holes have been cut in them. People are always going to copy the Pros, but they change their components every month! I just dont get some people...!
  20. fair enough, but ive just moved from 158 to 165, the difference is only just noticable, and its definitely for the better, didnt take any getting used to. Leeson vid1 was filmed on the first ride after changing. Andrew
  21. Ive got an uber nice one of a kind mod frame for sale if you're interested, also a few other bits:

    thanks, Andrew

  22. I dont mean to be insulting, but why is it that every topic created by ONZA leads to criticism? Instead of getting frustrated about peoples' comments and asking people to slacken off you should just step back and ask yourself what you're doing wrong. A little patience may help, you seem to be trying to get everything out there before its ready.
  23. yeah, but torque is the turning moment that is applied to the BB axle, and is the product of the force and the perpendicular distance away from the pivot. So longer cranks make it easier to pedal, but require more foot movement to make the rear wheel travel the distance. Its up to you really, 170s, seem too long for mod as they get in the way, but say your sidehopping, you dont need the rear wheel to rotate a lot, but you need the power, so a slightly longer crank is better. Thats why i went for 165 cranks last time i bought some, but not many companies make them that length. But if you want some cranks, buy my 165 Try-alls! Andrew
  24. in the second of you JP is your left foot about to slip off the pedal? Cos that would be some shin dig! Andrew EDIT: seems i prefer looking at pictures to reading the captions! but ouch man, must have been painful! I found that changine to platform pedals with pins immediately cleaned my legs up in terms of scabs and scars, the concave shape that your foot sinks into makes it so much harder for your feet to slip off.
  25. nice Boats! definitely an improvement, liking the dodgey stiff link in the chain in the third pic!! EDIT: stiff links
