From a farmer's point of view its a nightmare! Sat inside with nothing to do when there is wheat and oilseed rape in the field that needs harvesting! Bad weather makes farmers grumpy, god im turning into my father!

For a more ridgid and hence more powerful brake, the mounting of the slave cylinders should be in double shear, not single. The idea has been toyed with on a KOXX frame, but why hasn't it gone into production. This idea being mounting the slave cylinder integrated into the frame so that it is clamped in double shear, giving you a much stronger, less flexible mount, or do people prefer the flex? Andrew

Just thought i'd go onto the videos page and click on the top one, see how stereotypical it was: http://www.vimeo.com/1508792 Without trying to pick on the lad, can we give him some constructive criticism? I'll just start by saying the intro seemed poor; it was a few shots of his battered chainstay and white flashes in line with the music (which wasn't a good choice in my opinion). I'm certainly not saying that my next video is going to be breathtaking; I dont have the time or imagination to do it, but i do want people to see my riding and give people something to watch that is that bit different. Just got a couple of points to make... Bit off topic, but in that first video in the thread (which is really impressive) not a single rider ever wears a helmet. I just see that as a bad influence, or if they were wearing helmets would that damage the company's image? Back on topic, i totally agree with OBM's comments regarding the majority of trials videos posted on this forum being poorly edited and just using fisheyes and unimaginative riding. Where's this going to lead next? By the way, thanks for bringing this topic to light now, i've just finished my new video and im full of confidence in it ...not! Andrew

Darlington? my farm? richmond (north yorks) is a good place for street and natural and isnt far from the A1(M)
