  1. Sweet vid mate! Awesome riding! That bollard to rail gap really is huge and fair play to the riding on those cagey rock things, cos they're horrible to ride on!

  3. Will there be any pay or expenses for the riders selected? It would be a long way for a lot of riders to travel.

You're not wrong, they're hot! I love mine, go the other colour, the gunmetal anodised and it looks great with black rim and black spokes

    Grips

Its one of those subjects thats really down to personal opinion, regarding the size of your hands and how hard they are. The only way to know is to find out for yourself, just try both for a substantial amount of time
  11. That's a bit nice! Bash ring has slipped though
  12. Looks like an awesome comp. Its tempting me to maybe make a trip over to ride one sometime, those sections look amazing! And yeah, that EVO is

    Bb Trouble

Just before you go and buy a new BB, just make sure that it is definitely the crank thats wobbling on the bb axle, and not the bb axle being loose. Do this by grabbing both cranks firmly and see if they both wobble the same. If they do, then you should simply be able to tighten the BB up and that should sort the problem out. If it's just one crank wobbling then it might be damage to the square socket in the crank thats causing it, take the crank off to inspect it. If its damaged, then its probably new crank time (there is a bodge that you can do involving a coke can, but it wont last forever). It would be a good idea to invest in a BB tool to fit your bb and a crank remover
  14. i wish he would get a shirt that's similar fit to the shorts, or vice versa, cos a the moment he looks a right plonker!
  15. Awesome, some seriously ballsy moves going down there without brakes. He's takes a different approach to Akrigg, and it really works!
  16. I would definitely go for a 160 Hope Mono trial, they've got sufficient power, I'm even using one on my 26" and have been for nearly a year now. As long as you keep the pads and rotor really clean then you shouldn't have any problems. Other disk brakes include the Magura Louise, which is alright, just not as powerful as the Hope from my experience. The other route to go down is an Avid BB7 cable disk, they work very well, but I prefer the feel of hydraulics. Edit: Oh, and for the rear, I would recommend the same size for 20" wheels , just keep them free from grease and grime.

  19. love it!! that was awesome Steds! I want a downloadable version! Loved the flowing lines at buthiers, no of this ponsy hopping around on the spot! the wall tap on that fence was a nice little add on as well. Allround cool video dude!
  20. Thought i'd give this a bump as its less than a month away, has anyone entered yet? cos i can't seem to find it online, and the downloadable entry form doesn't seem to work.
  21. Great review of the bike! I just want to reiterate the stability on the back wheel and the stiffness of the back end. However, I completely disagree with the 'need' for a booster. The intergrated booster design is very stiff, yes you could intruduce an extra booster if you're not completely satisfied, but I dont see any need for one. I am very happy with my rear brake, it works really well and there is little flex. Andrew
  22. Good riding Danny! Shame about the on offs. but your frenchies are sweet
