If there's enough material left, just cut another slot with a hacksaw. If there's not....you're a bit suffed :( EDIT: ...unleeeessss you get a seatpost, and make that the new seatube (so it sticks up over the current seat tube) and cut a slot in that. Then get a new seat post to fit inside the other seatpost that is now your seatube. Confused? I am! :(

I assume he means £210. Its probably because they share the car, so they share the cost.

Very interesting My Monkey, very interesting. I wish I'd watched that film now, it sounds really good. I agree with some of your points; such as bringing back corporal punishment, and the thing about students getting sent out of their classes and put into the 6th formers' class. However, I'm not so sure about the death sentance. Although it's very rare into today's age, mistakes can happen with the judicial system, and people do (although very rarely) get put away for something they did not actually do. Take this scenario for example: Person A is framed by person B for murdering person C. Person B makes sure all the evidence points towards person A. The jury conclude that person A is guilty of murder, and is ordered to be executed. This then means the person A has been needlessly killed. As I said, I know this is very rare...and somebody is probably going to mention DNA analysis. However, DNA is not completely unique, somewhere in the world, there will be somebody with matching DNA to you. What's to stop this person framing you for a crime they commited? I also think the giving somebody a death sentance is the easy way out. I'd much rather see criminals really suffer inside a prison for the rest of their lives, than suffer pain for a couple of seconds, and never have to face the world again. You've also got to take into account the person performing the death-provoking punishment; be it electrocution, lethal injection or whatever. What is that going to do to them? Going home at the end of the day, knowing that they have killed somebody. Would that not mess with your head a little bit? I know it would certinally make me feel a bit wierd. In my eyes, life should mean life...none of this "half sentence if you're a good girl/boy" crap. However, this does cause problems. Keeping criminals costs money. It costs tax payers money. Money that could be better spent elsewhere. What is the answer to this? Simple, make prison a prison, not a holiday camp. Get rid of the tv, get rid of the pool tables, get rid of anything that gives them something pleasurable to do. Only give the inmates the bare minimum to survive. Bread, water and room to exercise. This would, no doubt, make prison a lot cheaper, and would make the public less concerned about where there money was actually going when it came to prisons. Prisoners should be kept under constant watch, so they are not given the chance to take their own life. They should be made to suffer, just as their victims were.

Do You Think The Moderators Are Doing A Good Job?
george_seamons replied to trials_pimp's topic in Chit Chat
I must admit, I thought this was going to turn into a bitch fest, but it's actually a suprisingly good thread. I agree with pretty much everything that has been said :P I agree with Jon about the moderators. What with Joel being away on duty a lot, and Lewis being really busy with other stuff, all the workload is shifted onto 4 or 5 people. As the forum is growing bigger and bigger (which nobody can deny it isn't), I think maybe more moderators could become useful, but by no means essential. I wouldn't mind becoming a moderator, I spend a large amount of time on here anyway, so why not put it to more effective use?! :P NMC has sifted the majority of crap out of the main forum, this is easy to see by the sheer amount's of rubbish in there. However, once people realise that all they have to do is post sensibly, they are soon upgraded. Members deserving validation are always being noted in SM chat, it's just up to Tom and Danny to validate them...which they do (eventually :ermm: ) do. EDIT: ...but then again, you get people like Mr Monkey that appear to have slipped through the net :P" :P -
Oh dear lord. That was horrible. I'd not cringed throught the whole series. But when he cut into the testicle and penis, I did actually feel slightly sick :P

And from here on in, it becomes a game :ermm: The rules: I post part of an image from this picture, of which the next player has to find. To prove that you did actually find the object that the previous image is part of, add your trials-forum screen name to the image when you paste it. I shall start:

Just to let you know; Middleburn did indeed replace the cranks...no questions asked. I sent them on Monday morning, and got home from school today, to find them laying on my bed. I'd say that was pretty damn good going :ermm: I'm still debating whether to put them on now with the scabby bashguard...or wait until I've sent the bashguard to be pimped up by Mr Potts :ermm:

Yeah, that suprised me too. I was really worried he was going to cut himself with that huge knife when he was cutting up the pancreas and kidneys! ...did anybody else notice his voice was going? At the beginning of the show, I thought he was really scared or something, but then I realised his voice was just going! :turned:

I would say your CPU is over heating. Check the seating of the heatsink on the processer, ensuring there are no gaps. Also check that your motherboard isn't shorting on any part of the case.
