  1. Wow. Watching that really brought a tear to my eye (Y) I have the utmost respect for you, Sue, Charlie and Em, for managing to keep your composure during the interviews. I know myself, and many other people would not have the guts and determination to do that. Watching the clip of DJ's bike laying in the road like that made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up, and all the thoughts that I felt on the first day came flooding straight back at me. I hope that the closure of both these court cases has somewhat eased your concerns. I am glad to see that some justice has finally been done. I know it hardly seems fair that they both got such short sentances, but as Em said, its as much as anybody could have hoped for really. R.I.P DJ :-
  2. Here's a sneaky preview. However, the front is much, much better. And the side has changed a tad too (Y) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v381/geo...panel_final.jpg
  3. Give me until the end of half term, and mine shall be finished. ...then you will see what modified means (Y)
  4. Hahahaha...so did I  We are both evil bastards :- This is the same as rigging an election. Very wrong (Y)
  5. Oooh....interesting topic. I was actually thinking the same thing when I was reading the newspaper today. A local girl has been paralysed as the result of a serious car accident. I know it sounds really harsh, but I think I would actually rather die than be paralysed. I can't stand having to rely on other people to do things for me, and I hate not having my own freedom and space. However, it's not as simple as that. You have to think about your family and friends around you. What would they want?
  6. I think it means rhesis. Or recess...or something like that :) Will you be going again Si?
  7. Too far monkey, too far.
  8. So you had burnt cat on your pancakes? Eeooowww....you skanky f**k  You're probably right, but I don't care, I just feel like arguing. I could argue an egg into a wine bottle right now.
  9. So if I go and burn a cat, that is charcoal? ...is it bollcks :D (No cats were harmed during the thought process of this post)
  10. Its just burnt pancake in esscence isn't it  It's not charcoal though. Charcoal is wood. Pancake is not wood :D You don't ever see school children drawing pretty pictures with burnt pancake remains do you?! (N) EDIT: Mwahahaha. George > Tommmmmmmmmm
  11. No, you still have 2 hours, 41 minutes to neck as many as you can. Go go go
  12. I *think* you have to be 16. I started in lower sixth form, so that would make sense. As for where to go, I can't honestly say I'm sure. The people I donate with travel around Eas Anglia, and they set up their station in community centres and stuff. Maybe googling it will help? Where do you live? EDIT: Merlin_rider...its really not that bad. They talk to you while they're putting the needle in, and if you're not looking, you wouldn't really notice it that much. I just like looking, 'cos I like to know what they're doing. I'd say it's worth it just for the pressure thing they put round your arm. When they pump it up, and ask you to tense your arm really tight, it makes the veins on your forarm really stick out, which makes you look really muscly. So go for the ego boost if nothing else! :P And at the end of the day, your blood could save somebody's life. Think if that person was you, and you were in desperate need of blood, but there wasn't any available, because people were too scared. You'd be a bit shafted wouldn't you? :D It may appear this way, but I, in no way shape or form, work for a blood doning company...I'm just good at making you feel bad
  13. Does anybody on here give blood? I went today for the fourth time, finally got my little keyring thing that tells me my blood group. I'm O - rh apparently. Which is great, because it's fairly rare, and being rh means any samples of blood become useless after 3 or 4 days :P I first went with a group of friends at school. None of us had ever been before, and we saw it as a chance to get out of school for an hour or so, so we went. It was much less painful than I ever imagined it to be. To be honest, I think the willy test they do on your finger before hand hurts more than the actual doning. My first time was pretty funny. I thought I was ok, and sat up pretty quickly, but then it all went funny, and I felt really dizzy and my face went really white, so I had to lay down again with my legs elevated. Once the blood was all back in the right place again, I sat up again (a bit slower this time!) and it was all good. Each time after that, its been hassle free. Strangly enough, after my doning today, I felt really really energetic :P The best bit is having races with your mates. My personal best for giving a pint of blood is 4 mintues 20 seconds. I beat all of my mates by over a minute  I like the "eat as many biscuits" and "drink as much as you like" rule in the canteen too :D I had 12 jammy dodgers today :">
  14. I'm sure I can be persuaded to pop along...if I don't have to work.
  15. Smaller wheels, smaller cranks, lighter frame. All adds up to less effort to get the bike moving (Y)
  16. Yeah, but nobody likes Western Digital :)
  17. Yeah, I wasn't sure about the graphics card. I've not looked into the market since I brought my Geforce 4mx 440, and that was a good couple of years ago. Add onto the fact that I know nowt about ATI cards, and it leaves me a bit clueless :(
  18. Have you tried logging out each time you leave?
  19. Seeing as I'm so kind...I've gone and made you a new shopping list :P Suprising what you can do when you shop around. Most of the stuff included on this list is of a higher spec than your list, and is cheaper :( Motherboard Processor(HS/F inc) RAM Hard Drive Graphics Card That's including everything on your list, as well as a better graphics card. Leaves you with £23 in your pocket too :P There's no need to worry about the sound card or firewire card, because both are included on the motherboard :) I take it you have all the cablage required? And a suitably powerful PSU?
  20. You don't need that soundcard. The motherboard has onboard audio. Most of today's modern motherboards come with 5.1 audio, so there's no need to buy a card to upgrade it. The £16 you save from that, I highly recommend you spend on the graphics card. I had a Geforce 2 to begin with, and I now have a Geforce 4. The Geforce 4 struggles with a lot of today's games, so I'd highly recommend something else. Hope that's of some help :( ...that heatsink fan looks evil. Make sure you watch your fingers! :) EDIT: I would advise against buying from DABS...they are quite expensive. Give Ebuyer a look before you lay your hard earned cash down.
  21. Turn up in manc in the nudders? Comical Frank Butcher pose with nowt but a bowtie on :)
  22. Spot on my son....spot on. I never used to listen to half of the music I did a year ago, I used to think it was all crap. I don't know what changed it though, because I now love it. I guess that's just part of growing up, your musical taste changes :) (Doesn't stop my dad say what I listen to is crap everytime he walks past my bedroom though  )

You have more money than sense Dave. You seem to go through frames quicker than I go through a box of Kleenex
