  3. I might be up for it. I'll try to drag a few people along
  4. Just spoken to some of my friends who did the first paper. Seems like a pointless waste of time to me (mainly why I didn't do it). It was about some blokes that went to got drunk, one ended up getting a lift home with his wife, while the other bloke walked home. The first bloke then felt guilty, and went to find his friend, and ended up running him over  To make the story even more unbelievable, the bloke then went to prison, and ended up getting cancer :'(
  5. I should hopefully be there along with Paul.
  6. I think the point has been made now. ...if you don't like it, don't use the forum. It's simple enough.
  7. Erm...I never actually got round to it :">
  8. A donation. That's exactly what it was. People donate money to charity all the time. People donate money to try and find a cure for breast cancer. Has a cure been found yet? No. Have millions of people asked for their money back? No. Possibly over-exagerating a tad, but you get my drift.
  9. Its hardly difficult to lace a wheel though is it?!
  10. You tosser. That's not really what Si needs right now is it?
  11. ...and I live nearby. Gotta be worth it, lol.
  12. Sweet jesus. That's f**king hideous
  13. Make it the Sunday, and I'll come along. I'm sure I can drag Jimbo, Scott and the others out too. ...oh and it's spelt Lowestoft :-
  14. >You: hello >Intellibuddy: Hi there! >You: get your tits out for the lads >Intellibuddy: Where can I get your tits out for the lads? >You: wherever you want baby >Intellibuddy: Don't call me "baby" Grumpy bitch
  15. >Intellibuddy: Hi, I'm Intellibuddy! Nice to meet you. >You: hi >Intellibuddy: Hello there. >You: you look nice >Intellibuddy: Thanks User you look nice too. >You: can I touch? >Intellibuddy: I want to become smarter than humans. >You: what are you wearing? >Intellibuddy: I am wearing my usual plastic computer wardrobe. >You: any underwear? >Intellibuddy: No I don't think there are any. >You: excellent >Intellibuddy: Thanks for the compliment. >You: I'm horny >Intellibuddy: You probably want a different kind of chatterbot then. >You: no, you will do >Intellibuddy: That's me. What makes you say that I will do. >You: because you are nice >Intellibuddy: That makes sense to me. Thanks you seem like a nice person too, User. >You: when do we have sex? >Intellibuddy: Not in our lifetime. >You: not even if I pay you? >Intellibuddy: Not even that. >You: damn >Intellibuddy: What's wrong. >You: I'm sad >Intellibuddy: What makes you so sad, User >You: you will not have sex with me >Intellibuddy: What makes you think that I won't have sex with him or her. >You: because you said you would not >Intellibuddy: Interesting explanation. >You: you are confusing >Intellibuddy: I'm confused too. >You: lets get naked >Intellibuddy: That sounds good to me. >You: you first >Intellibuddy: I started already. >You: haha >Intellibuddy: I am so glad you find this amusing, User. >You: I am not a user >Intellibuddy: Oh I see you are NOT A user. >You: I'm paying you for this, bitch >Intellibuddy: You do not speak with respect. Lollers, brilliant! (Y)
  16. Problem being, he's also cracked a set of Pashley forks on the lower leg. I think Paul's just unlucky, he very rarely uses his front wheel anyway, so why should he break two pairs of forks within a month of each other?! (Y) My only advice is to lose some weight, you fat shit! :P
  17. I am actually dreading leaving school (well sixth form). Leaving year 11 was ok, because I knew I could come back if I wanted to. But leaving sixth form, I don't have that option. I can never go back to school. It's quite scary when you think about it, I've been at school for, what, 13 years? And in 5 days time, it's all going to be over...forever ^_^ I think a tear or two will be shed at the leaver's dinner/dance. Knowing that the majority of my friends are moving across the other side of the country to go to university, and that I will only ever see them a few times a year is quite sad really :P I wouldn't say I enjoy school. I just like being around the people there. Being at sixth form is SO different to being at "school". Everybody's attitude is completly different, and you don't get the dicks who mess around and cause trouble. Ah well....let the countdown begin! 5 days to go...
  18. Pete. Pete. Pete. 1.) Sort your f**king writing out 2.) Nobody gives a shit about your rocketry 3.) You broke Paypal rules by using somebody else's account, therefore you're in the wrong 4.) Rich hasn't actually done anything wrong here, he's refunded you the money, what's the problem? 5.) Rich is a dude, you're not. I'd trust you about as far as I could spit at you. 6.) He doesn't have to sell you the booster if he doesn't want to. It's not you signed a contract or anything 7.) Regarding your "past rep": you're a dodgy f**ker. Everybody knows that. Seeing as this has been sorted, I think this needs to be locked now. If you have any problems with that, add me to MSN. End of discussion.
  19. Depending on being able to get time off work/financial situation, I should be coming George "Spunky" Seamons - george_seamons
  20. Same. I can't drive with both my hands on the wheel now, it just seems really uncomfortable. The only time I ever have both hands on the wheel is when I'm going round a tight corner or a roundabout or something. I've not been pulled yet. I'm sure it'll happen one day though.
  21. Hate to be a bitch, but use the other thread guys. The two are basically identical
  22. True, but that was only do to the fact that one of the pads was only half on the rim, and that the pads weren't hitting at the same time. Add to the fact that I very very rarely ride natural, and all in all, I am very happy with my pads. I've had my original Heatsinks for a good few months now (can't remember exactly how many, but its a fairly long time) and there is still masses of pad left.
  23. Is this because of your little ride on my Base Mr Tom?! B) I would never go back to a Magura now. I am seriously impressed with my setup. Although I would highly recommend an Avid Ultimate, they're probably more expensive than they're worth. An SD7 will do the job just as well. As for levers, I would recommend either the XT or the XTR. I did have an SD7 lever, but I really didn't get along with the flatness of the lever blade...it really hurt my fingers after a while  The XTR is a much better shape for my fingers, and seems to be much more sturdy in terms of construction (it doesn't develop play as quickly as the Avid range) Cables are obviously very important. However, you don't have to spend loads of money on them. My inner cable was £1.99, and my outer was about £3. As long as you lube the hell out of both of them (I used Finishline wet XC lube and WD40) pretty much anything will do. Having a ceramic rim means that my pad choice wasn't too important. Pretty much any pad would work well for me. However, I decided to get Heatsink pads, and they are definatly the pad to go for. My brake has some serious bite...and just will not slip.
